My kids consume fruit like there’s no tomorrow, so cutting up all their strawberries takes forever. Found this sweet little tool and it works like a dream. Makes slicing strawberries for salads/oatmeal/yogurt/snacks a breeze. Just be careful you don’t try and put too much pressure on the open end away from the hinge-make sure you are supporting the hinge when you close the contraption so you can make sure it won’t crack apart! Also- if you have an unusually large strawberry- best to cut it in fourths before sending it through the chopper! Enjoy sliced strawberries for days!

Much better than my egg slicer with wires (that were always breaking) This cutter has actual blades, not wires that will ultimately break or pull free from the framework of the device. Around $7 and well worth it! It will be around for more strawberry seasons than I probably will! Amazon.com.

This actually has blades instead of wire like so many other sliders. Very good.

Este aparato sirve súper bien, yo hasta diría excelente. Yo lo uso para hacer laminas y ponerlas en uno de esos vasos con tubo agujereado dentro y hacer infusiones. Pero debería de servir divinamente pata decorar un pastel, por ejemplo.

Works extremely well with no crushing. Has 4 little silicon feet so it doesn't slide around. Initially I had a problem getting the slices out, but discovered that it works perfectly just to pick it up and shake it out over my bowl. I was able to slice a couple of pounds of strawberries in less time than it took to hull them! Easily cleaned as well. Fantastic.
