Since someone who is not using this was placed on the desing table, it became useless. There is no option for a tube. Source vales and tubes are the bloddy norm, but no. We find just a bag, for 50€....If you try to attach any tube on the opening vale, well good luck with that. Time to leave and swich to camelback or someone elese... Sad since it is rubust, exactly waht i wanted... but without tube and filter, its useless

Tut was es soll.

Already owning three 2l ones and brought this one as a camp water storage. Decent size. Good quality. Still MSR MADE IN USA those so worth to buy before they moving the factory in China. The fabric is better than the two litre ones, nearly as thick as my Vaude Argon rucksack so I'm expecting long lasting use. Strongly recommend this stuff. Can be used as solar shower when on base camp. Efficient and small packing. Not abad price though. As preview reviewers stated, the thing need a larger handle to carry as the actual system is similar with the smaller ones but the weight now is greater on this one do need a bit of work in redesigning. Supper happy with the buy.

As a reference point, I got the 4 litre in the Dromlight series about 14 years ago, and it's held up well - no failures. Use that one on backpacking trips several times a year. End of day, fill up the Nalgenes and the 4 liter bag to cook, clean up, wash up a bit and cook the next morning. When empty, it folds up nicely. It's been great for 2 people backpacking.I'm making the transition from backpacking to car camping, and got the 10L bag as base camp type water storage. Potable water can be hard to find at some camp sites. I fill it up before I head out. It's 2.5 gallons of water, which is fair piece of water and more than enough for two people on a typical weekend.LIKES1) Flexibility. Sure you CAN store 10L of water if you want to, but you don't have to. It's foldable and packable with the amount of water you want or need to carry2) Durability. My reference point is the Dromlight series, and it's held up for 14 years. This is noticeably beefier. Just builds confidence in your setup as you head out. Couple of extra ounces, but we are talking about water. Those extra ounces are worth it.3) A little bit of luxury at the end of a long day. One other reviewer said it's almost too much water, and she's right. I've paired it up with a Platypus 2L GravityWorks, and I have about 9 liters of clean water in 5 minutes, which is a game changer over the MSR Miniworks. No knock on the Miniworks, I love it and it's kept me healthy on many 5 day hikes when the water looked a little sketchy. It's just really nice to have enough water to wash up, clean your feet and face at the end of a hard day of walking.4) Insurance. This is the other side of the luxury. If you backpack, you know what it's like to be constantly watching your water supply. It's just a reality we all face to see the vistas we see. This is a LOT of water. Just nice to know its there.DISLIKESMy unit does have the slight plasticy taste others have mentioned. It will go away and it doesn’t really bother me.RECOMMENDATIONSI would go for the 10L. It's a big bag and it packs down small. It's a good size to work with especially if you have more than two people or to share if other people join the camp and they are short on water. The 4L is reasonable if tight for 2 people for one night. This is more than twice the size. It just makes things easier.I bought the spigot/shower hose adapter. That's been nice. I keep the original cap on while carrying water and put on the hose adapter when camp is set up. Again, washing up at the end of a long, hard, and glorious day is a true luxury. That was worth it.All in all, it was a worthy purchase. No regrets.

I know some very credible people who think they can taste a difference in water coming from this kind of water bottle. I can't. I could visually recognize that (for whatever reason) water coming from a Dromedary had something like soap bubbles that I never saw before, but they were tasteless. After a dozen refillings, the bubbles disappeared. It was just a curiosity, not an issue. Overshadowing anything like that are the versatility and toughness characteristics of the Dromedary Bag. It has flat nylon grab lines all around the bag that make it easy to grab, fill and especially carry. It lays flat in the keel of my kayak and doesn't roll around. It's easy to hang from trees because of the surrounding grab lines. The small cap with the flip spout makes it easy to fill smaller water bottles, pots, cups, etc., and to wash dishes with a steady stream. I can stick the Dromedary in front of my kayak seat and use it as a thigh support without worry about damaging it. The four liter size seems about perfect in terms of weight and handling. The "fill handle" works very well to support the bottle upright to get a complete fill of the bottle every time. I'm saying the bag is very, very well designed. Fill it from the small cap, not the large one. If you really have a refined palate and can taste differences in water, consider the fine line of (kosher, I think) collapsible water bottles sold by "Source," an Israeli manufacturer, which meet high purity, taste, coloration and odor standards. I use the latter for scotch and wine. Source collapsible bottles weigh almost nothing, but are less rugged and versatile than the Dromedary Bag.1/7/15 Update. Another year has passed since I wrote the above review. I used (and abused) the Dromedary bag for seven months in Washington State and British Columbia again last year. I bought another to supplement--not replace--the one I've used for the last three years. Both are going with me this year on an 800 mile, 80 day kayak trip from Vancouver Island to Glacier Bay, Alaska, where toughness and reliability are absolutely required. My past experience with the first Dromedary sold me the second one. If your equipment gets knocked around a lot, the black version (not the red one) is the only way to go. The weight difference is insignificant. I still recommend the "Source" collapsible bottles for scotch . . .
