The colors are bright and pigmented. They are very smooth to hold and easy to blend with water. I'm very happy with the quality of the product! I received a set of 24 as the smaller set was out of stock!

I bought these Feb 24. Unfortunately only 4 of the 12 were as described. The rest were harder, and much less water soluble. I contacted Mungyo directly, who following investigation were able to advise that the manufacturer had changed the consistency of some of pastels due to some production issues.This also likely explains why the older 2022 reviews are 5 star, as they very likely received the old formula pastels.Do not waste your money on these.I went direct to Mungyo customer service and they gets 5+ stars and totally exceeded my expectations. If looking for an oil pastel (albeit not water soluble), their Mungyo Gallery soft oil pastels are a delight to use (MOPV range - not the basic oil pastels!).
