I've used plenty of the faraday pouches with velcro close, however I was after a box that could be tucked away into a kitchen cupboard, without the faff (and noise) of having to open a pouch every time.The box feels solid, not too big, but big enough for car keys, garage fobs, and even a bunch of conventional keys too. It's become an easy place to 'dump' the keys without feeling guilty of doing so because a) it's protected and you're doing your bit, and b) its tucked away in a good looking box.As for the signal blocking, it works as expected, tested with my car keys in it, the car wouldnt start (push to start).I note some other reviewers got unlucky with finishing of their products - mine turned out OK.This is good value to me and I'd recommend

Put my car key and phone in the box but still gets signal half the time.It has room for alot of keys.It's built ok and would be a good price if worked.

With recent key cloning incidents in my area, I wanted a reliable way to block signals from my keyless car. This Faraday box works well, effectively preventing signal transmission. I tested it by placing my keys inside and approaching my car—normally, I’d be able to unlock it, but nothing happened, even at a 1-meter distance.

Just got the box, tested it out by putting my phone inside & sure enough, my watch would no longer connect to it. Works! The latch is a nice brassy-bronzy color & opens & closes fine.The box seems to be constructed well enough & the size is as described. Be sure to pay close attention to the inside box dimensions noted on the 4th product picture. While my phone fits in there fine, I have to mention that I have an iPhone 13 mini...it’s a small phone. If you’re using this for keys & not phones, it can definitely fit enough keys for a fleet of rentals in there & you’ll have no issues with capacity.Oh, the off-gassing, it’s nasty. Definitely need to air this one out before regular use or you will surely regret not doing so. Since it’s not mentioned in the product details, I can confirm that this is made in China.

This is a nice looking box and on initial inspection appears well made. It's effective in blocking RF signals so does its job as expected and there is plenty of room for keys and even a wallet.I have read the reviews from others noting the lack of a physical hinge and the dangers of opening the lid beyond 90 degrees. Fortunately, because I was forewarned I have not suffered this fate, but I can appreciate the comments and also see the lack of a physical hinge as a design weakness.
