This is a neat little sewing kit. It’s compact enough to throw in your bag and has all the bits you need for any repair work. It has a great variety of coloured threads to match to any material and it seems to be of good quality. I would recommend this item.

I recently bought a travel sewing kit of similar quality for about £4. This one is currently retailing at £3.50 at the time of this Amazon Vine review so compares favourably.It contains very similar items of similar quality; the quality being acceptable rather than stellar, but perfectly acceptable as a travel sewing kit rather than a main one. The only item I notice that is much better quality than the £4 version I bought is the pair of metal scissors.The kit is in a black nylon zipped case that is about the length of my hand but slightly wider (small adult women's hand). The zip seems to be fairly robust so will hopefully be fit for purpose. Inside the case there are 18 very small reels of cotton thread (various colours), a small number of pins, a magnifier, a soft tape measure, a seam ripper, a pair of scissors, a small number of medium sized safety pins, a needle threader, a few small buttons and press studs, and a round case with a selection of hand sewing needles. Basically, it contains everything you need for 'on the go' small repairs of clothes.This is a nice and reasonably priced lit and would make a nice gift to someone going to university or similar and would make a good stocking filler too.
