It took a while to clean. I was making up leg of lamb (de-boned) up Greek style in yogurt on the outdoor Napoleon grill. It is great at holding the meat in place and even something slathered in yogurt. The seasoning stayed on the meat too. Cooked up nicely on the grill.My only pet peeve is the cleanup was a bear. Had to soak it in water but the sink is too small so I bought bigger buckets so these can soak overnight. But between my scrubbers, bamboo wash cloths and rough scrape wash cloths I managed to clean these up. But it took a long time and was a lot of work.I have yet to try it with a whole fish but that is what I think it will really work with quite well. Also good for vegetables.

Bought this to make some spatchcock chicken. Works very well. The clean up is a little tough but it’s expected because of shape. Heard that making fish and veggies is real easy with this so will try that next!

The flexible wires actually do wrap around smaller pieces of food and still keep them in place when you go to flip them. However, due to no transitional T shaped handle, the unit here has handles that cause the entire unit to be raised an inch above the grill. Food will never touch or even come close to the hot grates. I prefer my grilled food to have grill marks. This unit will also require a lot more time to simply grill vegetables as everything is raised off the grates.

I bought this to try grilled cheese on the BBQ.I used oven gloves to flip/rotate without a problem. I might try tongs next timeThe grill does pinch the bread a little more on the hinge side but not enough to be a big problem.Grilled cheese comes out much more toasty all the way through the bread because it is not sitting in butter the whole time. Every single family member loved it this way.I kept the lid open and heat on low.I threw this in the dishwasher after. Cleanup was a breeze.

We bought this to grill salmon more easily on the barbeque. What an awful design. The spaces when it flexes are so big pieces fall through, the salmon totally stuck to every single wire, and with thicker pieces, it did not close. A waste of money. We have thrown it out. Do not recommend at all.
