When I started my bedroom headboard project it was just going to be beach themed. Once I mounted the shelf, I started to look for something to put on it and I ran across this Orca model and had to buy it. It looked so good that I changed my beach theme into a beach/Jaws theme. You can see by the photo that Jaws took over. It's a quality replica and doesn't look like a toy at all.

Highly detailed model of the Orca from the classic movie Jaws. Looking as rugged as it is seen on screen this superb model captures every detail of this famous boat. Made from wood as you would expect shark hunter Quint's boat is superbly brought to life one again. Every little detail is captured to the famous cabin door where Chief Brody walks in pronouncing were goanna need a bigger boat To the ropes and steering wheel for the vessel. Comes with it's own stand combined your model will fit smugly on any shelve on which you want to proudly display it. A display plague on the stand tells us this indeed is the Orca. I like the back of the model too displaying the boats name Orca just like you see it in the movie. Comes well packed the boats masts head is wrapped separately for protection and this just fits into the hole provided for it though I must admit it took some locating at first for me. My only little niggle and it is only minor the famous barrels on the front of the boat are painted black instead of the movies instantly recognisable yellow but as stated this is minor really. A little pricey for what you get but that said it is a lovely little piece of the movies memorabilia to own and instantly recognisable you just have to resist the urge to take it into the bath with you. Seriously overall it comes highly recommended for what it is and a good talking point for anyone who sees it I can vouch for that.
