I've known of NEEWER for quite a while now, and my impression of them has always been that they offer amazing quality at low price points that punch way above their weight class.I think I just had my standards set too high because of what NEEWER is usually able to deliver with their products, but even then this is still an extremely functional microphone for the price point it's listed at.I guess a good way to summarize it is that NEEWER usually has great price to performance, while this microphone just has great price to adequacy.Although, one of the greatest things about it is how good its directional pick ups are.I figured a good test would be to plug it into the front port of my custom PC, and despite 3 fans exhausting air at fairly high RPMS literally less than a foot a way it only picked up my voice.All in all, It's a good, cheap microphone but it's not an amazing cheap microphone.You'll be hard pressed to find better microphones at this price point, but the magic of NEEWER seems to be missing here.

NEEWER CM7 3.5mm TRS Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone Review.I tested this microphone with my Deity PR-2 Pocket Recorder. The Neewer CM7 has a 3.5mm plug with a threaded collar, which paired perfectly with the PR-2, which also accepts threaded collar microphone plugs. The CM7 will not replace the microphone the PR-2 came with, but it makes for a decent backup when I need it.The CM7 also pairs well with digital pocket recorders that have a 3.5mm port for an external microphone. Some DSLR and mirrorless cameras can also benefit from an external microphone versus the camera’s built-in microphone.The CM7 captures audio at lower levels compared to other microphones I tested. I had to adjust the gain several steps higher than what I usually set for the PR-2’s microphone. This is more of an observation, as the CM7 still captures audio well.I like that the microphone arm is flexible to almost 90 degrees from straight and that the foam wind suppressor is permanently attached. Its compact size makes it easy to stow in a camera bag or backpack. It’s not professional grade, but for the price, it’s a valuable asset to have.

Lo uso per backup del lavalier a filo collegato a trasmettitori leggeri. Il collo a cigno permette di "abbracciare" da sotto una giacca, quando non si ha clip. Comodo anche come mini microfono cavaliere (uso molto improprio... Ma è capitato).

バイクに乗っている時の会話録音用に買いました。襟にDJIのマイクをつけ、そこからマイクで延長してヘルメットの中に伸ばすために買いました。ヘルメットの中だとマイクと口の距離が近すぎて音割れしました。距離の調整は必要かもしれません。また、思いのほかコードが柔らかいため固定は微妙です。もう少し硬いとよかったな。
