This doorway curtain is made of a relatively thick cloth which is good for a door way but not as good for covering a book shelf. I would have preferred a lighter material that is not as stiff so the cloth can be lifted much easier to access items from the book shelf.The print itself is nice. It’s not crispy and clear but blurry and fuzzy. In a sense because the print is based on the mythology of carps jumping over a dragon gate to become dragons, the blurry image works well to blend the two types of creatures as if they were morphing.I think it definitely adds character to an entrance or a room if that’s the style that you like.

Ordered for a basement door but once I hung it I noticed the fish are more of a Christmas red than koy orange. Its light weight. More for a smaller entryway.
