A useful little device to keep in the car in case of emergencies. It has a spring loaded punch spike that will shatter a side window to allow escape, a high pitched SOS whistle and a blade, accessed by removing a safety clip, that will cut through a seat belt.Hopefully it will never need to be used but it’s good to have handy for peace of mind. They arrive individually packaged and you get 8 - plenty to share around with family and friends. Note: The functions are explained on the back of the packet and in the ‘to break the window’ section it says ‘remove the cap’ - there is no cap to remove, you just press the device against the corner of the window and press really hard.

Ich habe seit Jahren ein fast baugleiches Modell eines amerikanischen Herstellers an meinem Autoschlüssel. Das Modell von „NINEMAX” weist drei auffällige Unterschiede auf:1. Es hat eine zusätzliche Signalpfeife.2. Die Befestigungsart ist anders.3. Es wirkt etwas billiger.Trotzdem funktionieren Glashammer, Gurtschneider und Signalpfeife einwandfrei.Bei meinem alten Modell hängt der Notfallhammer am Klingenschutz, sodass man den Gurtschneider im Notfall nach dem Heranreißen des gesteckten Autoschlüssels gleich einsatzbereit hat. Hier muss man hingegen die dünne Kette zerreißen und den Klingenschutz manuell entfernen, was allerdings mit Daumen und Zeigefinger (einhändig) machbar ist. Pech hat man allerdings bei Keyless-Schlüsselsystemen. Hier muss man das Teil irgendwie in Armreichweite im Auto befestigen. Mir würde die Sonnenblende einfallen. Noch eine Bitte: Den Notfallhammer bitte nicht an den Rückspiegel hängen, das „Gebaumel“ lenkt nur beim Fahren ab.

This seems to be a good value. 8 items for less than $10 at the time of this review is pretty good. The seat belt cutter function is straight forward. I won't know until there's an emergency if it works as they say it does. Same goes for the glass breaker. I'm glad I have extras because I'm not sure if the blade on the seat belt cutter will make it through airport security. I think it should but you never know these days. I've lost pepper spray that way and then I never got around to replacing. With these extras, I don't have to worry about being with out it if it gets confiscated or lost. There's also enough to share with my family and friends.

Nifty tool. Have them in the car, on my keys,on my purse etc cuz you never know when it'll be needed, even tho you hope it never is.

This is a very handy tool for anyone with a car or anyone that travels in a vehicle. You just put it on your keychain and hopefully never have to use it. And it comes in such a good size pack that you’re able to share with friends and family.
