I really like this set of maple colored wood floating shelves with dark metal brackets. They are very sturdy and attractive. All required hardware is included, including wall anchors and screws, but you will need your own screwdriver or drill. I like that the brackets can either face the ceiling or the floor, so they can either become part of the decor or they can be minimized underneath the shelf. I had no issues installing these.I particularly like the rounded corners on the shelves… I don’t see that very often on floating shelves and it’s a nice feature. The lighter colored laminated wood is also a nice change from dark wood and it looks great in a beachy themed guest bedroom. What I did not like was that the screws for the dark metal brackets are silver on the heads. How much harder would it have been to give us screws that match the color of the bracket? I used a black sharpie to minimize the brightness of the silver color, which definitely improves the overall appearance.These shelves are an ideal length and width for books although you will need book ends. They are also useful for displaying decorative items or could be used in a child’s room for a piggy bank, stuffed animals, or diaper changing items. Very versatile, spacious and sturdy.For $30, I think this set of four floating shelves is a good value and I recommend.

Very easy to install and use, these are perfect for our sons room, he loves displaying his legos after he builds them and this fit in perfectly. Very nice, lightweight and holds a good amount of weight. Great value for the money. Super easy to build and use.

These are 4 shelves and although they call them floating shelves, they have heavy brackets that are very visible. They do seem sturdy with the heavy brackets. They are not wood. They are particle board with veneer covering. Just not the look I was hoping for.
