Bought as a portable extender for iPad Air M3 (2025) for a travel option over the more substantial Anker 8 in 1 551 Desktop Stand. Was concerned if compatible, but worked just fine for the iPad. And also provides audio on the 3.5mm output, which is what I wanted for on the go music production instead of Bluetooth headset.Recommended.

This USB-C Hub Multiport Adapter offers a comprehensive range of connectivity options, including SD and TF card readers, USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 4K@60Hz HDMI output, PD 100W passthrough charging, and a 3.5mm audio port. For those looking to enhance the versatility of their USB-C devices, it’s a solid choice. The variety of ports accommodates a range of devices and use cases, from connecting peripherals to extending displays. It seems well-made, with a premium finish that inspires confidence in durability.4K@60Hz HDMI: The HDMI output is excellent for high-resolution external display needs. The lead is a bit short, which may limit placement flexibility, especially when working with larger setups or docking stations. While the hub performs well, it feels slightly overpriced compared to similar products with comparable features.

This multiport USB-C hub adapter has a lot of ports, making it very versatile indeed. It's classed as a 9-in-1 tool for anyone needing extra ports for their devices. I’ve used it with my Dell Laptop, and it works really well, and you wouldn't know if the ports were on this hub or built into the laptop itself as there doesn't appear to be any lag or drop in connectivity when you are using it.The hub includes an impressive number and type of ports : HDMI (supporting 4K@60Hz), SD and TF card slots, USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 100W PD charging port. The HDMI output works perfectly, delivering a very sharp picture without any noticeable lag. The USB 3.0 port offers fast data transfer, while the USB 2.0 ports are handy for peripherals like a mouse or keyboard. The addition of a 3.5mm audio port is a nice touch, especially seeing that more and more devices are coming without one these days. The build quality is really solid, as this comes housed in an aluminium alloy casing that feels durable and helps with heat dissipation. It’s compact enough to fit in a laptop bag, making it ideal for travel or hybrid work setups. One handy little feature that I do like on this is that it has a button that shuts down connectivity to any monitors that are cabled through this hub with a simple press of this button. This helps you maintain your privacy if what you were doing was not meant for anyone else to see.

This is an extremely comprehensive USB hub with 9 separate ports and connections. The hub itself is extremely well made, with what feels like a metal exterior. It looks extremely robust and sturdy. It is compact but packs a lot into such a small device. It has 3 USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, a microphone port, a HDMI port and two card slots (full size and micro). Only one of the USB-A ports is USB 3.0 with the others USB 2.0. Only one of the USB-C ports is data transmission, with one for power, which gives only 2 high speed data ports on the hub. The ports have good connections and everything seemed to work well.It has the most unusual feature I have seen on such a hub, which is the ability to turn off/on the screen by the press of a button on the hub (although only if the HDMI connection is used for the screen). However, there are some things that are unusual and for me these are weaknesses. The first is that this is the shortest connection I have seen for a hub to the device it is connected to. Many hubs have short leads but this is only 10cm (4 inches), which is actually even shorter than the hub itself. This means that the hub has to be extremely close to the device it is connecting to or an extension lead needs to be used. If it is that close to the device do you really need a screen on/off button, when the windows lock option is within a few inches of the hub for example.Strangely though this is extremely compact and lightweight, the best use of this device seems to be where it is left in place e.g. for a laptop that is taken with someone but where all the devices you want to use at home with the laptop are connected to the hub (monitor, speakers, external keyboard, mouse, fingerprint sensor, hard drives etc).A good price for a good device but that lead is just too short and really restricts what I can use it for. I could use an extension lead for it but that may restrict its functionality and I would rather have a hub with a longer lead.
