I purchased this so that our grandchildren could watch videos in the back seat while we went on trips longer than one hour. There's always too much drama if there are two children and one of them is holding the tablet. This is a sturdy tablet holder and I took a pictue of my Lenovo 11" tablet with the case on it held in position by the holder. The attachement method seems reliable and adjusts to different headrest dimensions easily. I find this solution of attaching the tablet to be best with longer shows because, with short videos, someone hs to run the tablet controls. This requires either a person in the front seat contorting to get access to the tablet or removing it and starting the next short video.

I ordered another holder that didn’t fit the iPad. This holder fits our iPad great and other devices like iPhone and switch. Very easy to install

This is a great tablet/device holder. It's easy to install and folds compactly when not in use. You can use it with services both small and large, we held a kids tablet which had a fairly thick rubber protective cover without any issues (and for several hours during a road trip). My sister liked it so much that I decided to give it to her and I'm going to get another one for my car. I will update this review if I find any issues after more extensive usage, but so far, so good. I highly recommend it.

This tablet holder is super handy for long drives. It fits our iPad and phones securely, and the adjustable arm makes it easy to find the perfect viewing angle. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it wobbles slightly on bumpy roads. Still, it's a great buy for keeping the kids entertained in the back seat!

Bin sehr zufrieden damit.

Tried this tablet holder out for a long roadtrip with the kids. I was a little disappointed the the grip range wasn't narrow enough to hold a Kindle Fire 7/8 tablet the "short" way. It's just *barely* too big, which you'd think they would have made it to hold one of the more popular tablets out there, right? The measurements they give are DIAGONAL measurements, which really doesn't tell you jack about how wide it grips, so here are the measurements: 5" to 9.5" is the grip range for this item. A Kindle Kid's case with a kickstand is big enough to be held the narrow way, but a regular "adult" case is too narrow. So as long as you're OK with the mount holding your smaller device the "long way", it's a decent setup. But in my case, the Kindle Fire buttons, charging port, and headphone jack are on the short edge where this device needs to grip in a "long way" orientation, so you do have to mount the Kindle in it offset to one side in order for it to work. At least the "hands" that grip your tablet have two "fingers" each with a space in the middle, and the space allows you to plug in the charging cable and headphones "in between" the fingers, so it'll still work. You just have to line it up just right, which might be a little tougher for a kid to do without assistance. Also, the fingers seem deep enough that it *should* grip a "chunky" thicker foam-type case OK, but I didn't have one on hand to test it out.The spring-loaded clamp arms are also a different design: only one side is spring loaded, while the other side has a push button to lock it into a fixed position. It's not bad, it's just different than you might expect. The major advantage this unit has is also it's main disadvantage: it is a direct mount with no "arm" for adjustment of depth or to swing to the side. The advantage to this style is that it's rock-solid. There is no arm to move due to vibration or bumps in the road. But with no arm, you only have one "depth" and you can't adjust the tablet closer to you, nor can you swing it to the side to share with a second person. If such a single point mount is what you're after, this one is nice and solid, and the price isn't bad.
