I bought this for my 1-year-old who insists on spoon-feeding himself yogurt and other messy/runny foods. I wanted to give him a bowl to eat from instead of putting the food directly on the Stokke Tripp Trapp tray. Unfortunately, he can pull this bowl right off the tray. However, it does stick to the surface of our table, so the suction will come in handy when we remove the tray and move him to the table. In the meantime, my search continues for a bowl with really good suction. I like the material and color and have the matching cup.

Update: unfortunately, these bowls absorbed a STRONG soap smell over my first few weeks of washing them. They now smell really strongly of soap and even make the food I put in them smell/taste of soap. Rendered them unusable at this point which sucks because I love most of Ola Baby’s other products and paid a premium hoping for higher quality silicone. Will be attempting to return these. I’ll note that the spoons and sippy cups don’t have a smell (yet), so I’m not sure if it’s just this product or all their products. I have a ton of Ola Baby stuff and these bowls (I have two) are the only ones that smell this bad.Original review : Tested a bunch of brands and these are the highest quality silicone bowls - I especially love that the kid is also silicone, so I can feel good about the baby eating from cleaner materials. Perfect for any mom who is looking to minimize plastics. The bowls also get an impressive seal for when you travel!

My three-year-old son Marcelino really liked the Olababy 100% Silicone Divided Suction Plate. So, I was really interested in learning what he thought about the Olababy 100% Silicone Suction Bowl With Lid.I found that, my son likes using the bowl because, it suctions to the table and helps keep him clean during mealtime. I find it likable that, this bowl is both spill proof and storage savvy.I would highly recommend the Olababy 100% Silicone Divided Suction Bowl, it is a great bowl for mealtime or on-the-go.

Suction is great on wooden table, glass table, granite, quartz. However these days young couples are buying plastic made dining room sets - with slight faux grain- and this will not stick. So using silicone mat under it to stick to works . Still very nice bowl - with very well fitting lid - frig and dishwasher friendly. Nice color.
