I'm a medium distance (half marathoner) runner, typically stay around an 7.5-8 min pace. Generally get 30 miles/wk.First, cloud is the correct word to describe. They cause you to spring forward almost when running, regardless of what part of your foot strikes the earth. I bought this shoe to assist with shin splints and constant pounding.Second, the top of the shoe is a study mesh material with good toe room. I've had shoes that made my feet go numb. These don't.Third, the shoes come with two set of laces depending on your preference.Will purchase again when needed.
