it works good but it has some distortion. I bought because I misplaced my older 10x loupe (found it a few hours before the new one arrived). quality wise it's decent but like i said it's got a tad bit of distortion and it's a little stronger than my 10x loupe but not by much. I would buy it again though!

Here is a photo from my phone camera through the lens, compared with the closest macro focus without the lens. It provides good magnification and sharp focus. A little bit of chromatic aberration at high-contrast spots, most noticeable around the edges of the lens and almost eliminated at the centre. The metal case feels sturdy and hardwearing, and it is easily un/folded by hand but then stays in position on its own.

Bought to help with wild flower identification, yet to test it outside.Good level of magnification. The depth of field is quite shallow and you have to get the distance just right to see whatever you're looking at clearly - not sure if this is a feature of this product or common to all loupes. Would have given 5 stars but for the shallow depth of field.
