My husband drinks his coffee slowly. He is always warming it up in the microwave. This allows his coffee to stay hot for the time he is drinking it. He loves that he can set the temperature, and that there is an auto shut off when the mug is off for a certain amount of time. Great thing to have.

The best! The safest! Although a bit pricey compared to the others, this one is the winner, 100%. I bought another for a third of the price and it had the touch on/off feature. It was so sensitive that a piece of paper turned it on which scared me. What if my cat accidentally stepped on it and turned it on? And pushed paper or something on the hot plate or burned their paws! I didn’t want to burn my house down. I returned it! This one though has a PUSH button to turn on and off and also has a weighted plate that will automatically turn the device off after 5 minutes of nothing on it! This one was the only one I could find that had a push on/off and I would recommend this one 1,000 times for safety, looks and keeping my coffee nice and hot!!

In unseren Büros haben wir schon viele Tassenwärmer getestet. Kürzlich einen, bei dem die Heizfunktion mit einem Schwerkraftschalter aktiviert wird (Tasse darauf stellen, der Schalter aktiviert die Heizung). Zusätzlich gibt es Taster und Schalter vorne, die so schwer gehen, dass man jedes Mal das Teil auf dem Tisch verschiebt. Und hier? Ein satt schaltender Dreh-/Drück-Schalter, mit dem man durch Drehen (ebenso klar spürbare Rastpunkte) die Temperatur in 1-Grad-Schritten und die Abschaltzeit in 1-Stunden-Schritten verstellen kann. Einmal Drücken ändert den Einstellmodus von der Soll-Temperatur auf die Abschaltzeit. Ein LED-Leuchtring um die klar lesbare eingestellte digitale Temperaturanzeige signalisiert in Farbfolge von gelb nach dunkelrot zusätzlich die gewählte Stufe (zwischen 45 und 80°C.Es gibt Geräte, da zeigt die Farbe blau die kälteste Heizstufe - was soll das?Der Oracer-Wärmer erkennt die Tasse / das Glas / den Becher mittels einer in der Platte eingebauten (vermutlich optischen) Sensorik, beim Abstellen aktiviert er die Heizung und der LED-Ring leuchtet dauerhaft, ohne abgestelltes Getränk blinkt er. Das Ausschalten erfolgt durch etwas längeres Drücken des Dreh-/Drückschalters oder natürlich auch über die eingestellte Zeit.Die wichtigsten Funktionen hat er also, sieht ferner gut aus und macht einen absolut hochwertigen Eindruck. Der Preis ist offen gesagt fast zu günstig, ich hätte auch mehr bezahlt.Klares Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Llevo meses con el mio y sigue calentando sin problema. Pensé que se quemaría pronto, pero afortunadamente me tocó uno hecho para resistir. Nunca más bebidas frías. :)
