Logger Joseph hackte an einem kühlen Herbsttag 1946 Brennholz, als er für einen Moment pausierte, um neugierige Aktivitäten in einem Baumstumpf zu untersuchen. Eine Holzkäferlarve, die Größe eines Zeigefingers eines Mannes, kaute sich leicht durch Klangholz, die sowohl quer als auch mit der Holzmaserung nach Belieben durchläuft. Joe war ein erfahrener Betreiber der gasbetriebenen Sägen, die in diesen Tagen verwendet wurden, aber die Schneidkette war ein Problem. Es erfordert viel Feil- und Wartungszeit. Ich habe mehrere Monate damit verbracht, nach einer guten Antwort auf das Problem zu suchen, Joe erinnerte sich an sich. Ich fand es in der Larve des Holzkäfers. 1947 wurde die Oregon Saw Chain Manufacturing Corporation mit vier Mitarbeitern und einem Produkt gegründet. La description indique qu'il comprend les boulons nécessaires à la plupart des machines, mais ce n'est pas le cas.Il est inutilisable car il ne s'adapte à aucune machine, sauf si vous avez un raccord carré.

reçu rapidement. manque la piéce en métal de fixation sur le renvoi de débroussailleuse.tête de débroussailleuse non utilisable.le descriptif de l'article ne précise pas ce manque de pièce.très déçu.

This is a great product. It fitted my 12 year old Kawasaki petrol strimmer perfectly. I had purchased a (supposedly) universal trimmer head from a garden centre and paid a lot more than I did for this one from Amazon. But in fact, it did not fit at all well, the socket being smaller than the connector on the Kawasaki. so I decided to try this one and I am very pleased. It seems to me that the tolerances on "universal fittings" are not always that "universal" from different manufacturers. I have purchased other Oregon products for other bits of garden equipment and always been pleased. The only small comment I would make is that unlike the original trimmer head, the holes for the fixing lugs do not go all the way through, so when you reassemble the two halves after having pulled it apart to pull out more line, you have to "feel it" back together by gentle twisting, as there is no visibility of the securing lugs. But that is a small thing and you soon get used to it. In fact, I am so pleased with it, I think I am going to order another, so that when I have a trimming session I can just swap the heads over and get on with weed removal and set up the line on both trimming heads later!
