Per chi come me' non sopporta il suono strillante della 2M Red, ne vale la pena sostituire lo stilo. Premetto che preferisco il suono delle vecchie Ortofon serie OM più vicine al suono del vinile che la serie 2M che sembra di ascoltare il CD. Devo ancora terminare le 50 ore di rodaggio, ma fin da subito si è capito che è meno strillante della Red a vantaggio di una riproduzione sulle medie e basse frequenze migliorate. Ho sostituito solo lo stilo sul corpo della Red e credo che sostituendo l'intera cartuccia suoni ancora meglio visto che se pur compatibile con il corpo Red/Blue differisce nei materiali della Silver originale. Tutto sommato meglio che buttare tutto! Consiglio.

Ich habe eine 2M-Red gegen die 2M-Silver getauscht. War das Red schon eine hochwertige Nadel ist die Silver eine Nuance hochwertiger.Die Auflösung ist feiner ohne die Bässe zu vernachlässigen. Diese kommen klar und knackig und schwimmen nur an den Stellen, an denen es in der Musik auch gewollt ist.Alles in allem ein lohnender Kauf, zudem die Nadel nur €10,- mehr Ausgabe verlangt.Preis-Leistung stimmen hier nicht - für den Preis ist die Leistung zu hoch ;-).

Le remplacement d'une 2M Red se fait en 2 secondes, juste en clipsant celle ci sur le support. Upgrade agréable et pas trop onéreux

This is the second or third time I've replaced the needle. Despite careful weighting etc, after a few months of play, the cartridge plastic is touching the vinyl as it plays - the needle appears to bend under the recommended weight. Tried reducing the weight, but on all but the most perfect records, it then jumps. I'll try an upgrade to blue next time and see if this fixes the issue. One would expect a longer life from a 100 euro stylus.

Die Nadel klingt leider zu harsch. Es hört sich so an, das sich das Musikstück überschreit. Ist die Nadel vielleicht defekt?Ich möchte bitte aber keine neue 2m silver. Ich probiere es mit der 2mblue.

Habe das Silber nur gekauft um meine 2m Black nicht durch alte Scheiben zu zerstören.Klanglich liegt es zwischen Red und Blue. Spielt nicht ganz so tief wie das Bronze oder Black, das sollte man auch nicht erwarten.Montiert auf einem Dual CS5000

I'd like to think I can hear subtle differences between the Red, Silver, and Blue- all of which I own, but it could be wishful thinking.I like all of them on my Fluance, and so if you have a $500 turntable all three of these are great. Best way I can explain it is that Rock sounds best with the red, and jazz records the blue, and everything sounds good with the silver, even with just a few hours on it. It's why I recommend the silver.As far as the negative reviews, I can't imagine a stylus that came without the stylus, but I do know they all come with a cover you have to remove. Also, the loose fit: this will appear to snap into place without actually fitting fully in. Make sure it seats. Downforce...I like the old fashioned visual balance method and then I confirm it with my digital scale. I never just use the scale and the Fluance is a little squirrely using just my eyeball.

Habe jetzt 10 Minuten mit der neuen Nadel verbracht...ich entdecke jedes Lied neu - überall neue Tiefen, Details, Brillianz...bei mir läuft alles über die Dali Zensor 5 Stereoboxen...Vorher habe ich die 2m Red bespielt...die war genial, aber nach 5 Jahren musste was Neues her. Also habe ich 10 € mehr ausgegeben und darf nun jeden meiner Lieblingssongs neu entdecken und neu verstehen...Ich bin jetzt schon restlos begeistert - neue Dimensionen in jedem Lied.

Wir hatten vorher die Rote, aber wir/ich hatten immer das Gefühl, da geht mehr. Holt euch die Silberne! Wir sind begeistert. Kaufempfehlung!

Just popped it on the cartridge, removed the stylus guard, cleaned the stylus and started listening.
