This is my third purchase of this product. After deliberating whether to oil or stain my decking I decided upon this oil which comes in a variety of colours, I chose grey. I put the first coat on last year and waited to see what impact the winter would have on it. There has been no peeling, it soaks into the wood and stains it beautifully. There were just some areas where heavy use of foot fall had rubbed back to the wood but then I did only apply one coat last year. I have just applied a second coat which has enhanced the richness of the colour. On application it dries quickly with a nice even coat. Don't forget to give the tin a good shake before applying and keep stirring during application to get a good mix of the product. Would highly recommend, well worth spending a bit extra for this good quality product.

I've tried numerous deck treatments, oil based is the only way to go and this one is great. When i built my current deck, I was fooled by the positive reviews of a certain brands waxy water based deck stain, which, unlike the advert, did not do what it said on the tin. This flaked off easily with normal wear, you certainly couldn't jet wash it and needed 2 coats annually. I was concerned that an oil based stain would not go over my previous water based stain, but it did. Wish i did it years ago, although pricey, I have already spent far more on the cheaper water based, re doing it each year. Photos are before, with old caoting jetwashed off as much as possible, and after. The " after " is a number of months later, with heavy summer use and no sign of any wear at all.

Been using this for a few years, always delivers on the decking and used a spray gun this time round to get the job done quicker.

Sehr gutes Produkt und ein sehr schönes blaugrau, genau so wie ich es haben wollte. deckt sehr gut und dringt bei einer vorbearbeitenten Oberfläche tief ins Holz ein, bei meinem Fall (Bangkirei) was aber dann nur zur ca. der Hälfte der angegebenen Ergiebigkeit führt aber nach meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen ist das in der Tollerranz und völlig normal.

Lässt sich sehr gut verarbeiten. Habe es für die Poolumrandung eingesetzt. Super Farbe. Den Winter hat das Holz bisher super überstanden und das, obwohl eine lange Zeit 10 - 15 cm Schnee darauf lag. Das Öl ist sein Geld wert.

Lässt sich super verarbeiten, deckt prima, nur die Reichweite ist ca die Hälfte. Aber für ca.18 Quadratmeter hat es gereicht

Just a quick review to advise my findings on coverage, as I have seen people asking how far it goes.So this is great stuff, soaks into the wood, is dry enough for my dogs to walk on after 12 hours at 22°C and has a natural anti-slip property when wet, when I started my new deck I bought 2 tins of this, and found that around 100ml will put the first coat on 1 deck board (Swedish Redwood Pine) measuring 4.8m long x 150mm wide x 32mm thick if coating the top and sides, so each tin has painted the first coat (top and sides) of 24 boards 4.8m x 150mm x 32mm.The second coat goes further and 100ml will paint 2 x 4.8m deck boards with the above dimensions.Bought 3 tins so far.Looks great with two coats, the tin talks about possibility of using 1 coat and a clear stain on top, but no matter what the weather or brush used you can always see the brush strokes in the first coat when dry, I have used two coats, and it looks great, I tried a third on a scrap bit of wood and it really darkens down considerably.Will post a picture when finished.Anyway hope that helped somebody.

Das Öl ist perfekt in der Farbe eher ein mittleres grau , lässt sich super streichen man muss vorher gut durchrühren und trocknet sehr schnell, ich habe es auf meiner WPC Terrasse verwendet da mir die ursprüngliche Farbe nicht mehr gefallen hat, Perfektes Ergebnis und splittert auch nicht ab bei einer Reinigung mit dem Hochdruckreiniger

Tolles Produkt, habe mir den passenden Osmo-Bodenstreicher samt Stiel dazu geleistet, und damit die gesamte Holzterrasse in unter zwei Stunden fertig und sauber bearbeitet. Ich bin vom Ergebnis einfach nur begeistert - ging ruck-zuck und sieht sehr schön aus.Ich habe mich von den vielen "die Mengenangaben sind total falsch"-Rezensionen dazu verleiten lassen, zwei Dosen zu bestellen. Wer ein Öl dazu nutzen will, die Terrasse mit einem Anstrich leicht transparent zu ölen, der kann den Mengenangaben aber absolut vertrauen - die 2,5 l-Dose hat für meine 30 qm-Terrasse so locker gereicht, dass ich sogar dem Hochbeet noch einen grauen Touch verpasst habe (s. Bilder, einfacher Anstrich).Wer natürlich deckend arbeiten möchte und einen satten grauen Farbton erwartet, der ist vielleicht schlicht mit einer Farbe besser beraten - dann muss man auch nicht die doppelte Menge Öl verwenden und dem Hersteller falsche Angaben unterstellen :)Mein Fazit: Top Produkt, top Ergiebigkeit - man sollte einfach nur realistische Erwartungen an das Öl haben.

Sehr gutes Produkt, sehr hochwertige und edles Terrassenöl. Lässt sich sehr gut verarbeiten. Deckt super mit 2 Anstrichen. Schöne matte Farbe. Mein Douglasien Terrassenhokz war vorher Braun geölt, jetzt sieht es grau aus dank dieses Öles. Einzigster Mängel der hier auch schon mehrfach erwähnt wurde ist die Mengenangabe. 2,5 l sollen für 60qm reichen. Meine Terrasse hat 20qm und der Eimer war leer. Also berücksichtigen beim Kauf. Habe mir für den 2. Anstrich nichmal 2,5l bestellt.Nur zu empfehlen!Auf meinem Bild sieht man das 1. Brett oben mit 2 Anstrichen, das 2. Brett ist nur 1 x gestrichen.
