I've made several trips using this backpack. It has the potential to fit a lot, but if you do so, it will likely not fit under the plane seat. It is comfortable to carry and appears to be of high-quality construction.

Travel luggage on the inside hiking on the outside. I love the stretchy side to store and have easy access to my 20L water bottle. It looks bulky but the straps make the pack easy on your back.

This pack is so comfortable and, though the lumbar is not adjustable, it fits my petite frame perfectly. I can fit more in this than my older 40 liter Osprey Fairview despite it being 10 liters smaller. It can be a personal item as long as you don’t overpack it. But it’s comfortable to backpack with and it’s my go to travel bag for car, camping, or flights. I just with it had a trolley sleeve for a carry on.

Very poor design! Hard to figure out where shoulder straps were and how to attach them. It doesn't appear you can use shoulder straps without waist belt. Hard to access the compartment near the back when shoulder straps are connected. Other compartment does not hold as much as expected. It seems like the materials are high quality, but I am returning and getting a normal backpack.

Bought this for my Iceland trip for two weeks. Used it as a day pack also as the personal item on the plane. No problem with the size with AA or Icelandair. Love the clamshell opening, along with several size pockets. Quite comfortable. Love the color, functionality and the mesh pocket for bottle holder.I ordered 4 different sizes/styles of Osprey backpacks and kept this one. Love it
