Handbuch:
1. Lochsäge einrichten.
2. Setzen Sie den Bohrer senkrecht auf die Schnittfläche und drehen Sie ihn im Uhrzeigersinn, um das Loch zu bohren.
3. Wenn Sie mit dem Bohren beginnen, schneiden Sie mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und üben Sie gleichmäßigen Druck aus.
4. Lassen Sie die Säge vollständig auf dem Material zum Stillstand kommen, bevor Sie sie wegziehen.

Für mich war es das beste, aber ich habe auch keinen Vergleich. Ich denke für das Geld hat man etwas gutes bekommen.Ich musste an einem Gardena Schlauchanschluss die innere Verbreiterung bearbeiten, für diese Arbeit war es klasse und günstig.

This set of three hole saws, available in a number of permutations, comprises three coarse-toothed cup-shaped blades and corresponding arbors with adjustable centre drills and core-ejection springs. The arbors have external threads to which the blades are attached. The shafts are flatted to prevent slipping in the drill chuck.I tried the two smaller saws on an oak post, and the larger, 100mm one in plasterboard. The 30mm saw made good progress until about half of its depth into the wood when the spring started to exert some resistance. The saw started to smoke a little due to friction from contact with the wood. The 60mm blade performed in a similar way. Removing the springs did not help much. The depth of these blades does not increase in proportion to their diameter, so the smaller sizes make relatively deeper holes. In thinner material, it would be possible to complete the hole by inserting the saw from the other side. Another way to increase depth would be to remove the plug already drilled. I managed to break this off by inserting a screwdriver. A chisel should work on larger pieces. It should be just about possible to drill most doors in two passes, one from each side. The thick red paint, which is presumably there to discourage rust, is a bit of a hindrance, but it should melt or burn off after some use.The 100mm saw sliced through the plasterboard and foam insulation in no time.These saws should work well in softwood, plasterboard and similar, and many plastics. How long they stay sharp will depend on the material and care with which they are used. At £16.99, they are moderately-priced, and I think, of reasonable quality.

If you use this type of tool on a regular basis you'll know that they are sacrificial and will not last indefinitely, the main thing is how long they last and will they pay for themselves before it's bin time!So far I can say that this competitively priced (£16.99) set of three hole saws have earnt their worth. The three popular sizes will suit quite a few Pro and DIY tasks and because they have quite a course/large TPI (teeth per inch) they make quick work of getting through plywood and plasterboard. I would add here that when using these on plywood I took two cuts, halfway through from one side and then finished from the other side, this was to ensure a splinter free finish on either side of the hole and this approach worked out well.We all know every now and then a tool gets used on something that it's not designed for use on, HSS is not for stone or ceramics so if you try using these on those materials it will more than likely end in tears. Even plasterboard will be abrasive enough to dull the teeth on these hole saw's if you are cutting quite a few holes, and it's not fair to blame the product for premature failure when it was operator error.Anyway it's a well deserved five out of five stars from us for quality and price, look after your tools and in return they'll look after you.

Good, robust hole saws, ideal for wood, plastic, MDF, chipboard, etc.I got these as we're having a new kitchen we're installing ourselves, and new pipework throughout, so lots of holes to go through chipboard & MDF.I went for the set comprising a 30 mm, 60 mm, & 100 mm hole saws (1 of each) and I was surprised it also came with 3 pilot/centre drills, I expected 1 that would have to be swapped, so having 1 for each hole saw will extend the product life considerably.The size range covers everything I need, water supply pipes, radiator, waste etc, so I can do the complete job with just this set.Only one thing I would mention, they are not 'fine' hole saws, the teeth are large, and although that means they will make light work of any job, they will leave rough edges and spelches. One way to avoid this is to start the cut from one side, then if you can, cut from the other side using the centre hole, which should give neat edges both inside and out.
