Once they figure out how to spin/turn the plate it easily pops off from the bottom suction and they can toss the plate. She’s 13 mo, curious but not crazy and she figured it out on her second meal (the plate arrived this morning and I’m already writing this review). Maybe we’ll try flying the top and bottom plate?

It’s a good size. My toddler can’t get it off the table, so the suction works well. It’s not too difficult for me to remove, and the food doesn’t come flying off the plate when you remove the suction (which happens to me with other brands). I would buy more in different colors!

I got this plate after I was tired of silicone dishes that made my son's food taste funny. I have been totally satisfied with this plate! There's no taste/smell that lingers after washing (and I love that it's dishwasher safe). The suction works great too, he hasn't been able to pull it off yet!

The suction is very handy and I like that it doesn’t stick to the plate and can be removed separately.Plate is also great, and it doesn’t absorb the soap like silicone since it’s plastic
