The drawer isn’t attached to the stand! It’s not built in. The stand was easy to put together and although it was mainly by Allen key….they inc a screwdriver for the handle in the drawer. It’s worthy of buying but just remember about the drawer

The unit only took a few minutes to put together, no need to read instructions as it is so simple to do. There are even some spare screws in case you need them.The unit looks nice, clean white lines and the front draw is finished in a faux leather look with a decent size handle to pull it in and out. The side panels are metal which gives it a strong ridged basis.The central area between lower and upper shelves is in fact large enough for a big laptop, possibly a 17" would fit there. You could then have a printer or whatever you wanted above on the top shelf. As the bottom shelf is elevated by the height of the drawer found it gives an almost perfect level to view a laptop / monitor from.There is no looseness or wobble in the unit at all, it is very stable. I think this is a most useful unit for the office area and very adaptable to your needs or preferences of where you want to place things. I am finding it a good product. It can be used in a variety of situations, not just the office environment.Highly Recommended and 5 stars

I received the table printer early a bonus it took me 20 minutes to put together. Clear instructions and very sturdy too. I can now have my printer out if the way and no longer in a bulky table. Bonus is the drawer I put my pens etc out if the way too. I now know where everything is.

This is ideal in the right position to create ‘upward’ space – maybe on a desk, counter or as a side table. But check more than once that the dimensions work for what you want to use it for. Specifically, check that the ‘clearance’ area is enough, particularly on the lower shelf.There is a useful, mainly cloth drawer, that could store lots of small desk bits and even some keyboards, out of sight, tidy and offering some protection. Its front is a ‘wipe clean’ material with a handle. However, this drawer sits directly onto the desk / table surface / floor so needs a smooth, clean area. If you want to use it more as a table you possibly wouldn’t use this drawer. Equally it may not be advisable if its planned usage, for example in a kitchen, where it might get dirty. It still looks complete without this.The sides of this stand are well finished metal with solid shelves that have a wipe clean matt surface. Be careful if it is placed on a surface as it is direct metal onto it (no rubber pads or such like). Instructions are comprehensive and everything is supplied. There is a screwdriver and an Allen key for different fastenings – just a matter of working out which works best.Overall this is a solid item which is versatile and if it fits your space and purposes am happy to recommend. It has a clean, fresh look but not particularly glamorous or exciting, like maybe some of those which have wood veneers. But it is functional and well built and fulfils its purpose.
