I've had this for half a year now and it is honestly one of the most vital pieces to my desk space. I appreciate the "modular" aspect of it - giving more space for items or a slightly different look as my wants/needs change.

I was drawn to this item, due to the different ways it could be used for the purpose I had in mind. My preference was to lay the one section on top of the other so it was extended in length to about 26 inches. That's when things got unstable, as that part of the unit wanted to slide and twist, even when I placed heavy books to hold it in place. I asked hubby for some help, and he advised that the solution is to screw that section on to make it stable and keep it at the specific length I want. Then, he will purchase a "backer board" large enough to cover the open back area and some support clips to hold it in place at the very back of chair-side table it becomes a part of. (Like a small hutch) Without these adjustments, items can and will easily fall through the openings, or the one unit will slide completely off if it's bumped or someone is curious tries to move it. I think his ideas are good, so I'm keeping this product and we'll alter it to make it work.

Sturdy and well made. Can't complain, especially considering the price. Dimensions accurate as listed. Comes with a screwdriver and instructions. Took about 20 minutes to assemble. Ordered on 9th July, and received 19th July (Melbourne, Australia). Happy with my purchase :)

I gotta say from the time I opened the outer Amazon package to see the product box I was very very pleased and surprised. This shelving purchase was Perfectly packaged with thick cardboard yet no more than needed. It was well taped and cared for beyond what one expects from such a reasonably priced item. At first product glance I was surprised again. The finish is extraordinary. First the paint is dense white with a nice sheen; no flat white finish with varying coverage layers on this product. I am delighted and surprised to see the pieces all have a textural woodgrain pattern under the pretty white finish. Another seller or two here on Amazon sells a similar design as this organizer but with squared off panels where this maker offers rounded corners. This is a fantastic feature naturally and also safer whilst in use. My shelving organizer arrived in flawless condition with a finish remarkably superior to what I expected based on clever desktop organizers purchased from Totally Tiffany of approximately equal or greater price. The shelf material is probably three times thicker than TT units as well. I read many buyer's fuss over how hard this item is to assemble. Several did claim it is easy. Trust me, it IS easy to assemble. Just take note that all pieces are numbered. Then follow the instructions illustrating what gets attached in what order. Follow the numbers and the drawings to have this clever organizer together in no time. The one downside is the screws are not finished white on the tops meaning if one is really particular you may want to paint the screw heads either before or after assembly.
