This is an interesting dish drying rack because it’s double decker to save space. This brings up a critical point: If your kitchen is so small that you need a double decker dish rack, it means you’ll probably have cabinets next to your sink, so this won’t fit.The dish rack is extremely well made and sturdy with a solid plastic base and powder coated steel baskets. It also looks classy. The drain sluice can spin 360 degrees and is extendable so you can orient the dish rack any way you want next to your sink. I poured a few cups of water into the tray and cutlery bin and it all ran out fine (I had reservations that the cutlery bin drain holes would miss the tray, but they worked fine. Only issue is that a teaspoon or two of water remains in the cutlery bin.)The lower rack is wide open, but there are curvy metal bars on the bottom that can hold bowls. It’s difficult to maneuver items into this bin due to the cutlery bin and upright supports. A cutlery bin hangs on one side and has a removable knife holder. A cutting board holder hangs in back (nice feature!) The upper rack has slots for dishes, hooks for glasses, and fingers to hold wine glasses. Minor quibbles - Dishes only go on the top rack. The hooks for glasses/mugs are very thin. There are 5 wine glass holders, but I could fit only three of mine in as my glasses have larger bowls (red wine glasses.)Time for the big test! I simulated a spaghetti dinner for two: spaghetti, jarred tomato sauce, salad with freshly chopped tomatoes, garlic bread, freshly grated parmesan, tiramisu for dessert, water, and wine. I put all the dishes needed for this meal into the rack, which you can see in the included photos. The only thing that didn’t fit was the colander, but normally, you hand dry large items (I could have done the same with the pot.) As you can see, I had room to spare.Pros - Good looking, well made, sturdy, drain can be directed anywhere, holds a lot.Cons - This is very tall (and taller when loaded with dishes) so won’t fit under cabinets. Make sure you have room. Difficult to load stuff into lower rack.

I usually prefer to put all the dishes in the dishwasher because I hate trying to play Tetris with my dishes so they don't fall all over the counter and most dish drainers are too small for any amount of dishes. This drying rack has plenty of room for basic dishes- some pots or pans are too big for this rack but the majority of items fit nicely. The set up was easy once I was able to decipher the directions as it was a little difficult to make out the pictures. The rack is sturdy and I was able to stack a lot of dishes on the rack. I would prefer to be able to put the plates on the bottom part of the rack but it just isn't high enough to be able to do that. Where I have to set the rack, I just have to make sure I don't have to get into that cabinet until the dishes are dried and taken out of the rack. It is very nice to have the drain move around 360 degrees so it doesn't matter how I set the rack. I store the rack under my sink and my doors are a little narrower than most so I have to take the silverware rack and the hook for the cutting board off and store the in the rack in order to put the rack away. This works just fine because it's so easy to just attach both of these pieces on wherever I need them. The silverware rack is a little small so some of the larger utensils may not fit once you put the silverware in it. The rack for the cutting board is genius and it's big enough to hold a 12" fry pan but it's small enough to not be in the way. My daughter saw this drying rack and now wants one for her house. This rack holds so many items and in ways that you don't have to fight to put anything in it.
