This review is based on my real-life use of the product and Amazon has no say in the content of my review.🌱 Works as ExpectedThis soil tester does exactly what it claims. I've been using it mainly for outdoor plants, and it gives quick, consistent readings across all the key metrics—moisture, pH, temperature, etc. It’s a great all-in-one tool for keeping an eye on your garden’s health.📺 Display & UsabilityThe screen is bright and easy to read even in direct daylight, which is a huge plus. It also has a backlight, though I haven’t had much need for it since I mostly use it outside during the day. The rotating head is a nice touch and makes reading the display more convenient at odd angles.⚠️ Heads-Up on Batteries & UsageOne minor gripe: it doesn’t come with batteries, so make sure you have 2 AAA batteries on hand. Also, do **not** use this with liquids. I’ve ruined a similar tester before by dipping it into water—these things are strictly for soil use only.

I ordered this to check on the soil condition, temperature and light levels for our Bonsai growing hobby but we now use it for just about everything. I also have chillies growing in a greenhouse and this is fantastic for checking out all the information needed to grow different varieties successfully.The device seems to be very well put together and the digital display is big, clear and easy to read. This does need batteries that aren't included but we use Amazon basics rechargeables for just about everything now so that didn't bother us.Overall a great little device and very useful. Recommended.

Accessorio abbastanza compatto, dotato di un buon display LCD (per consumare poca batteria) retroilluminabile alla pressione dei tasti per diversi secondi, il necessario per leggere tutti i valori per bene.Lui richiede 2 batterie AAA non in dotazione, lo sportellino per le batterie sul retro è bloccato con una vite, viene fornito un mini cacciavite per aprirlo. Consiglio spassionato: cestinate il cacciavite, usatene uno vostro decente e dopo aver aperto lo sportellino, cestinate anche l'inutile e fastidiosa vite.Lo strumento ci offre parecchi parametri, anche i gradi che possono essere in C o F. Ha anche la possibilità di calibrare il PH.Chiaramente lo strumento va usato con criterio.. profondità corretta, 2/3, vari test in varie zone della terra, il sensore luce posizionato in orizzontale per leggere correttamente la luce che arriva alla pianta, ecc eppoi bisogna saper interpretare i valori ricevuti.Insomma, lo strumento ci mette il suo.. poi sta a noi saperlo usare correttamente.

This is a useful tool for checking soil conditions up to a point. I tried it in several locations around the garden and the pH was exactly the same everywhere (7.0), including a pot that didn't have any "local" soil in it, so a little bit suspicious of how well that works, although I can't say it was wrong. [Edit: have since been getting different readings - maybe works better in moist soil for pH]The moisture and Fertility readings were more plausible and both changed after I watered a pot with plant feed. I am not a gardening expert but these were useful indicators, at least for relative health of soil in different parts of the garden and to inform some Googling.The unit itself feels slightly delicate and care is needed pushing the probes into the soil but it worked fine so far. The screen is very clear, and the illumination works well in gloomier areas. You'll need two AAA batteries as these are not supplied, and a screwdriver for the annoying screw holding down the battery cover (which oddly enough IS supplied).To take a reading you need to insert the probe and then hold down the Measure button until the readings flash (note the pH flashes first, then the rest - wait for the rest). The unit then takes a few seconds to settle and display the readings.

Der Feuchtigkeitstester zeigt selbst bei trockenem Boden über 50 % an und steigt nach dem Gießen nur auf 55 %, was unrealistisch ist. Der pH-Wert bleibt konstant bei ~7,0, unabhängig davon, ob ich kalkhaltiges Leitungswasser oder Osmosewasser mit pH-Downer verwende. Diese ungenauen Messungen führen zu einem Abzug von 2 Sternen.

J'ai acheté ce testeur pour mes orchidées, il est simple à utiliser et donne des résultats clairs. L'écran est bien lisible même tôt le matin. Dommage qu'il faille acheter des piles à part, c'est pas pratique. Globalement, je suis content de cet achat qui m'aide à mieux comprendre mes plantes.Les ✅ de l'article :📗 Permet de vérifier plusieurs paramètres pour aider les plantes à mieux pousser.📗 Écran très pratique et bien lisible même quand il fait un peu sombre.📗 Résultats obtenus rapidement sans avoir besoin d'attendre longtemps.📗 Tête pivotante très utile pour accéder facilement au sol sans se fatiguer.📗 Idéal pour ceux qui aiment jardiner que ce soit débutants ou plus expérimentés.Les ⛔ de l'article :📕 Il faut acheter des piles en plus car elles ne sont pas fournies.📕 Les résultats peuvent varier si le sol est pas assez humide ou trop sec.👉 Conclusion :🎌Un super appareil pour suivre la santé des plantes sans se prendre la tête, même s’il faut prévoir des piles et faire attention à l’humidité du sol pour de bons résultats.
