Perfect for one cat!

Funktioniert bisher einwandfrei, auch wenn mir im Handy mehrmals täglich angezeigt wird, dass die WLAN Verbindung unterbrochen ist. Bisher fiel trotzdem keine Mahlzeit aus. Sobald das Trockenfutter in die Schüssel klappert rennt Abby los. Sie ist ein Trockenfutter Fan und so habe ich die Menge unter Kontrolle.

Excellent achat. L’appareil est bien pensé. Il est connecté. Avec des batteries de secours en cas de panne d’électricité. La gamelle en inox lavable facilement. Je recommande ce produit. Mes 2 chats mangent des quantités que je peux mieux contrôler.

I had one before this one and luckily that one broke so I had to buy another one.My cat could take kibbles out of old one. Could drop it and I wouldn't be alarmed. The wifi connection is a blessing! You get notified when food level is low.It's everything you'd ever need with a feeder.

My cat likes it and he runs to it when he hears the sound of falling food into the stainless steel bowl. 😻What is the best is that you can set everything via mobile APP.

De automatische voederbak heeft mijn leven én dat van mijn huisdier veel makkelijker gemaakt. Geen stress meer over het op tijd voeren van mijn kat, en ik weet zeker dat hij altijd de juiste portie krijgt. Een aanrader voor iedereen die vaak van huis is of een gestructureerd voederpatroon wil behouden!Voordelen:1. Gemakkelijk te programmeren: Het instellen van de voederbak was zeer eenvoudig. Ik kan de maaltijden precies op de gewenste tijdstippen plannen.2. Consistente porties: De bak geeft altijd de juiste hoeveelheid voer af, wat geweldig is om overeten te voorkomen.4. Geschikt voor verschillende dieren: Mijn kat eet nu precies op tijd, maar ik kan me voorstellen dat dit ook ideaal is voor kleine honden.5. Design: Het strakke en compacte ontwerp past mooi in mijn keuken en neemt niet te veel ruimte in beslag.

I happily spent the €100 cost to buy this feeder in view of the advertised sturdiness and functionality- stainless steel in a nice frame, WiFi-enabled where I could program feeding times including a custom recording…There are shortcomings but generally accepted I got a feeder I could use with automatic feedings via wifiA FEW WARNINGS THOUGH:Well, upon receiving it, yes the feeder is nicely build - ALL PLASTIC. The tank where the food goes is plastic and you can barely see some stainless steel on the blades that turn in the bottom to dispense food. EXTRA NEED: desiccant bags - add €30/month to “keep the food fresh”Thankfully when I got it in August 2024, I was allowed to set a feeding schedule. This is supposed to be one of the selling points. Well today I discovered YOU CANNOT SET AN AUTOMATIC FEEDING SCHEDULE anymore as I did back in August when I bought it. You can only select the button to dispense food manually because it seems that apparently now IF YOU WANT TO USE AN AUTOMATIC FEEDING SCHEDULE YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA SUBSCRIPTION anything between €70-150/ year to have their “wellness” app for your pet! (remember - THIS a basic reason why you buy this feeder)What a disgrace and exploitation for a basic setting!!And then the rest of what others mention are true:1. There are only 10g denominations of food to be dispensed - since this feeder is supposed to have a build-in scale, it’s a joke not being able to feed an exact amount of grams - ie. 28g2. The dispensed food amount varies every time in quantity, despite if you choose say 20g3. Yes it’s true, the dispensed food falls in the bowl about 10-15 seconds after the pet is called there (after having heard your recorded call) frantically waiting for food to drop like a slot machine win.I get the desiccant bag thing, there are solutions around it to not have to spend that much, however, think twice about buying a feeder for which you have to pay an extra subscription to feed automatically - there are so many other options on the market.This is a major no-no in my opinion.

Unsere Katze hatte sich leider angewohnt ab spätestens sechs Uhr morgens penetrant vor der Schlafzimmertüre zu schreien, um hier Abhilfe zu schaffen, musste also ein Futterautomat angeschafft werden.Die App ist recht selbsterklärend, alles lässt sich sehr einfach einstellen und funktioniert auch relativ gut. Ich finde auch nicht, dass die Futterausgabe zu laut ist, wie es viele beschrieben haben, was will man auch erwarten, wenn Trockenfutter in einen Edelstahlnapf fällt, das hört man eben, aber es hält sich noch im Rahmen. Auch der Futterruf lässt sich stufenlos einstellen und muss im Grunde auch nicht so laut sein.Unsere Katze hat das Prinzip sehr schnell verstanden und jammert jetzt allerhöchstens den Automaten an am Morgen.Jedoch gibt es auch einige Mankos am Gerät, die ich hier nicht unterschlagen möchte:1.) Es ist zwar schön, dass das Gerät theoretisch auch mit Batterien läuft, nur wird im Batteriebetrieb die Netzwerkverbindung getrennt und dann wird auch kein Futter mehr ausgegeben, das funktioniert vermutlich nur, wenn man die Einstellungen am Gerät selbst getroffen hat.2.) Die Zeitumstellung hat den guten wohl ziemlich aus dem Konzept gebracht, ich könnte mir Vorstellen, dass der Automat um "6" eine Anfrage ans Netzwerk gestellt hat, ob jetzt gefüttert werden soll und als Antwort zurück kam "Es ist schon 7". Ist jetzt natürlich kein großes Problem zweimal im Jahr (zumal die Zeitumstellung ja schon abgeschaft ist ;-)).3.) Es macht eigentlich wenig Sinn, dass man Portionen in Gramm einstellen kann, wenn die Grammanzahl nicht mit dem tatsächlichen Gewicht übereinstimmt. Unsere Katze bekam früher immer zwischen 25 und 30 Gramm Trockenfutter, im Automaten muss ich 20 Gramm einstellen, damit (immerhin recht wiederholgenau) 28 Gramm aus dem Automaten kommen.4.) Was uns auch schon zum nächsten Punkt bringt. Die Schritte sind in 10 Gramm eingeteilt, was jetzt für Idealisten wenig befriedigend sein dürfte, da keine wirklich präzise Einstellung möglich ist, man muss sich zufrieden Stellen mit dem was halt möglich ist.Nichts desto trotz macht er sich gut im Haushalt. Das Design ist wirklich Top und die Verarbeitung wirkt sehr wertig. Die App gibt aufschluss darüber wann und ob gefüttert wurde, auch Störungen (kam noch nicht vor) oder ein leerer Behälter werden angekündigt. Der Napf lässt sich sehr einfach entnehmen und reinigen.Man könnte auch theoretisch mal wenige Tage verreisen und die Katze würde trotzdem zuverlässig an ihre Nahrung kommen, wenn mal was nicht klappt, kann man einen Bekannten bescheid geben, da man über die App benachrichtigt wird.Für den stolzen Preis des Geräts finde ich die Mankos allerdings etwas unbefriedigend, habe aber auch nicht die Muse mich durch eine Vielzahl an Automaten zu testen, bis ich restlos glücklich bin. Da er grundsätzlich recht zuverlässig funktioniert und ich das Gerät nicht schlecht machen möchte, gebe ich hier trotz der Kritikpunkte 4 Sterne ab.

Depuis que j’ai acheter ce produit, plus besoin de penser a donner a manger à notre chat, le distributeur s’en charge, le réglage est assez simple et notre chat connais par coeur le bruit des croquettes qui tombent dans la petite gamelle. La fonction pile (non incluse) est aussi judicieux en cas de panne de courant. Je recommande.

TL;DR: Works and looks great with the exception of the recorded message feature.I bought this autofeeder for my cat out of desperation. She meows incessantly for 45 minutes or more before meal times which annoys my dog into shriek howling with every meow and causes me to contemplate double murder. I've only had this feeder for a couple days but so far it is working great! My cat is still learning that she must appeal to her new machine overlord for food, but she is already much better than she was. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and I will update my review if anything changes.PROS:- Easy set-up. It takes a few minutes but unless you're changing the schedule all the time for some reason, it's really not terrible. Some reviews claim you have to cycle through every time and portion to change something but that's not true. You can use the "+" and "-" buttons to navigate to the meal slot you want to change without starting from the beginning. Unused slots will have a time but if you set the portion to zero they will not dispense anything. This is probably obvious but it did confuse me for a second. I set mine to have 4 meals spaced 6 hours apart and it's been working like a charm.- No jamming problems even with larger kibble so far. The cat food I buy has larger chunks interspersed in with smaller kibble and I was worried that it might jam up the dispenser. So far it has been working just fine. It has a helpful sticker on the lid that shows you the largest kibble size it will accommodate and it seems to be accurate. I bought the 5L version which holds 4-5 lbs of food.- My devious cat has yet to figure out how to get extra kibble from it. The panel auto-locks so she can't press any buttons. I've seen her stick her paw up the chute to dig around but she hasn't succeeded in any extra snacks yet as far as I can tell. It's only been a few days so time will tell if she will use her demon powers to beat the machine. I would suggest either putting this feeder on the floor or securing it in place because I suspect that my cat would be able to push it off a table and/or knock it over of it was empty enough. The weight D batteries alone might make it relatively stable to tipping though. I have not actually seen her move it yet but I remain wary because she is a larger cat at 14 lbs and generally a menace to society*.- It seems well-made and is very sleek and modern looking. Appearance is less important than function to me but it does look quite nice.- I like that there is a battery meter display even when plugged in. I intend to have it plugged in all the time but it will be nice to know when the back-up batteries need to be replaced.- After completing set-up, I decided to move the feeder and had not installed batteries in it yet. I was expecting to reset at least the time but was pleasantly surprised to see it did not reset at all. It was unplugged for all of 10 seconds so I can't attest to how long it can go without power or batteries before resetting the time.- A customer service rep from PETLIBRO messaged me before my product arrived with some helpful tips and reminder that they have customer service available 24 hours on week days if I need it and a 12 month warranty. I have not had a need to contact customer service but I thought the pro-active message was nice.CONS:- It is not clear from anywhere in the instructions what constitutes a portion. From my measurements, it seems that one portion is equivalent to approximately 1/8 cup. I am happy with this portion size but I wish it had been clear without requiring experimentation on my part.- In my opinion, the only truly poor feature about this product is the recorded message option (whether you intend to use it or not). Other reviews mention that the recording quality is very poor and I have to agree. It is very staticy and mine also makes a rhythmic rasping noise even when recording silence. I had no intention of using this feature anyway as the sound of a pin drop would probably send her scrambling from across the house if it meant food. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a way to delete or turn off the recording without resetting the whole machine. I hit the record button by mistake during set-up, which is very easy to do, and I didn't want to start over. I "bypassed" it by hitting the record button quick succession to create as short of a recording as I possibly could. The quick blip of static when it dispenses food doesn't bother me but it is annoying you can't just turn this feature off all together. This is by no means a deal breaker to me but if having a nice recorded message is important to you, I would not recommend this feeder.- Not exactly a con but I prefer a shallow dish for feeding my cat. The bowl that comes with the feeder is deep but it is a nice bowl and I like that it has a tray that attaches to the feeder to keep it from being kicked around. Luckily her old shallow bowl fits nicely within the provided bowl and I haven't noticed any issues with spilling while doing this. Not a big deal but something to consider if it matters to you.*I promise that I actually love my cat very much! 😂 Picture attached. She's the best cat in the world... when she's not hungry.
