This kit fit our needs. We needed a solution for dog's access to back yard and did not want to buy a new door.It is easy to install with the necessary tools.

Trying to put a pet door in a mobile home door was tricky because there were limited options on replacement exterior doors. This solved that problem for me. Works like a charm and installed exactly like the instructions said.

We moved into a house that had this exact model of dog door on the back door. Great our dogs used it. but after being here for 5 years, one of the 2 flaps came off. We searched high and low for a new flap and bracket. But couldn't find. So we had to purchase this entire replacement doggie door. It is clear that the brackets that hold the flaps in place are plastic too- (not metal) and will crack overtime. While easy and straight forward installation occurred, it's important to not that a human can fit through this door/flap opening. Just something to think about if you are concerned about someone gaining access to your home. The plastic surround, and plastic door cover are cheaply made. The door cover easily pops off on it own. We wanted to just replace our entire backdoor and get a different doggie door, but for now, and budget reasons, we had to just purchase this door for replacement. Overall. I do not recommend.

We have old flap what need be replaced coz was to high,this one cover old one and let us put it lower.so easy to install,some screws was missing but call amazon and they give us discount.really happy with the service
