I am 72" tall, the strap comes up near to my knee without being attached to the ascender. You then have to loop it into the lower hole of the ascender and with the buckle taking up length, making it too short to allow the foot ascender to scale up before interfering with the knee ascender. Petzl, if you would add length to this strap it could suit shorter and taller individuals.
