This thing is legit. So sturdy, we haven't had any issues with it dislodging. We attached it to our sunroof glass, and it hasn't moved an inch. I was actually pretty surprised at how easy it was to remove and reattach. Our roads are also really bumpy, and it hasn't detached once with the iPad pro in it.

Die Kugeln in den Gelenken sind auch nicht glatt, sondern abgestuft gefräst, was dies noch positiv beeinflusst. Der Halter für das Pad selbst ist aus stabilem Kunststoff, die Gleitachsen wieder aus Metall. Auch ein 12,9" iPad Pro lässt sich mit Case ohne Probleme einsetzen, es ist genug Spiel vorhanden.Zusätzlich wird ein Teller mitgeliefert, den man im Auto irgendwo an einer geraden Stelle ankleben kann, um dann darauf den Halter zu fixieren. Dieser ist meinem Kleber bestückt, der VHB-Tape von 3M ähnelt.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! FINALLY A NORMAL SUCTION CUP WITHOUT STICKY GEL!!! And it is made from METAL annnd it can be configured in any position….annnnd it STAYS PUT! The “normal” suction cup on this one is Fantastiglorous! No More Suction Cup GOO MESS To Deal With! I have been through a half dozen windshield mounts in the past 2-ish years and they all had that gel stuff on the suction cup that can be “rinsed and reused” and they ALWAYS MELT on me and the thing falls of the windshield and can never be used again. On top of that the “goo” is REALLY Hard to clean off the windshield and the dash. It is a nightmare when it happens. I have had to clean that mess up so many times that when I found this I knew I HAD TO HAVE IT! I am really happy I ordered it too! The entire thing is made of metal where it counts so I do not see it breaking anytime soon and the suction cup is normal and ACTUALLY repositionable and will not leave a “goo” all over my interior some time in the future. The suction cup lever puts a deep pull on the suction cup so once mounted this is NOT moving whatsoever. It also came with a plastic disc with a sticky back tape that can be mounted to the dash if one prefers not to use the window glass.Another thing whIle I am on my positive rant about this holder, is that I love the way it is repositionable and the multiple points of the “ram mount” like ball and socket design. The ball on this is the same size as all of the plastic ones that failed on me and it allows me to mount my preferred phone cradle on it that has wireless charging and a motion sensor. So most any phone cradle with the receiving side of the ball and socket mount on the back of it can be swapped in on this and it will work fine. There is nothing wrong with the cradle that comes with this and it is actually one of the better ones that I have handled when it comes to manual cradles. It is STRONG and will easily hold a tablet the long or short way and it will super easily hold a phone in the long direction. Being this is the case, I am planning on swapping this cradle back on to it in the future when I get another one for phone. I have set it up and tested it and it will hold my Samsung Tab S7+ on the windshield while driving and hitting potholes with no issue. I am going to set myself up a little “invoicing station” on the passenger side of my truck with my tablet using this mount so I can do paperwork and billing in the field without having to find a place to set up my tablet and keyboard. Can wait for that because the way I have been doing it is uncomfortable and the “comfortable version” I can’t do if it is raining. …anyway….this mount is AWESOME!Made of strong materials and manufactured well. It does what is expected and it is Super versatile. It will easily handle the weight and size of the devices I have and would use with it and I am super happy with it. I would recommend it as I do not mind having more than one of these in my arsenal right now. These might end up in all my trucks to be honest.I do not like the phrase “highly recommended” when found in a reviewer’s review but I am going to make an exception here and use it because with this phone mount I, actually, mean it. So, here goes…. I highly recommend it! A+ tablet/phone mount in my opinion.

Seems rugged enough. Not the most robust, but supports and holds items firmly. the head of the unit that holds the item has dual spring supports. I am used to only one side sliding to fit the item, but this works well.Quality polished steel shafts, sturdy support system.

This mount has been fantastic for me in a couple device scenarios. It has been able to hold an iPad Pro, a Lenovo Tab 10, and a Surface Pro 3 all without issues. The springs in the mount itself are quite strong, requiring two hands to install/remove the tablets (others I've used could typically be expanded by using the leading edge of the tablet when inserting or removing, those would fail early and devices would eventually slip the grip).Since the distance from the suction cup mount to the device is shorter METAL arms and connectors, this helps prevent the device from bouncing over rough roads and adjustments can be made incredibly quick with the pinch-to-release connectors (instead of butterfly-type screws) at the joints.The suction cup, as others have mentioned, is incredibly strong -- probably due to the surface area its suctioned to). It utilizes a simple twist-turn on/off application and hasn't fallen off my windshield during a cold overnight in the driveway where I've had other suction cup mounts just drop (radar detector and dashcams).It's not the cheapest tablet mount out there, it seems to have similar models around the same price range, but I feel the all metal construction of the unit, the incredibly strong suction cup, and the quick ease of re-adjusting the angle of the tablets with just a pinch of the joints make this the one to get.
