I have recently retired and have time to spare... I have a friend who cannot walk the golf course since her accident . We love this so much ,that we have a Tee Off time at 2:00pm everyday. Sometimes even playing at 9:00pm at night. Love how this is keeping us busy and still active.. 2 hours or 36 holes, so much fun. I purchased me this indoor golf simulator for Christmas. I have been playing everyday. I LOVE IT! I reviewed a number of YT videos to see what others were saying about and it was positive so I decided to get one. I'm glad I did.Pros:1. Cost2. Easy set up (I use Apple TV and downloaded the app)3. Many courses to choose from4. Can place sensor into golf clubs5. Speed golf - get way to get in shape.6. Can use anywhere/anyplace.Cons:1. Nothing so far.If you're a golf lover you should get this.

I bought this about 5+ months ago and constantly play when I can't hit up the course.Something that's stood out for me is that the scores I get here are pretty similar to what I'll get in the actual courses I play, which is pretty cool. Granted I've also been playing golf for almost a year, these past 5 months I think it's helped improved my game because when I was slicing in real life, I did so in the game as well. Now that I hit straight, the same reflects on the game.That said, if you're a beginner looking to improve your game, I'd 100% recommend this simulator. If you've been playing for years and want to pay a reasonable price for courses anywhere in the world, this would be a great purchase for you since you can type in courses and play them based on their real life specs.

I have the original Phigolf and enjoy it. This one advertises almost every course in the world. I got it for my daughter to practice courses before she competes on them. What we found is that on our home course holes one and two are fairly accurate as far as layout. After that there’s no holes or layout and each holes says over 1000yds and it’s just green screen and you have to triple bogey out to get to the next hole and the same thing happens. We tried every course close to home (even the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island) and same thing.

Purchased this as a stretch budget gift for secret Santa for my father in law who is a huge golf nut. He's talked about putting an indoor range or joining a local spot for a monthly fee, and I figured this was worth a shot after checking out some YouTube reviews. TL;DR: this thing is awesome for a fraction of the price of more sophisticated setups that require a whole lot more space, money, and equipment. Fire up the app, screen cast your phone to your TV, connect the sensor via bluetooth, and start playing: it's that simple. I will likely pick one up for myself, I enjoyed it that much.The hardware is great - the swing stick isn't a perfect analogue to swinging a club, but it's far more realistic than I thought it would be, plus you have the option to put the sensor into a real club if you'd like. It has a rubber grip like a real club, a nice heft to it, and has a little counterweight in the end that makes it feel like you're making contact with the ball. Really well thought out.The sensor itself is very accurate - it duplicated all of the known "uniqueness" of both of our swings and the distances seem very reasonable to solid contact shots in real life. The data it presents is highly useful to improving your game, but there are some metrics missing that you get with the E6 app or WGT app and not the Phigolf app (side spin, back spin, smash factor are a few). Hopefully will be added in a future update.With the World Tour Edition, you get access to a claimed 38,000 courses. I'll trust that's true. It's neat that you can play Pebble etc, but my father in law thought it was so cool that it had several local MI courses mapped that he plays all the time in the summer.Room for improvement:- Graphics to be honest aren't great, but the WGT app is better and works with the Phigolf hardware.- Some weird bugs to be worked out - like you can't see your swing data from the tee box (first shot) in multiplayer and the launch angle (spelled "lanch" - typo in app!) seems to be always 0.7 degrees.- Some metrics missing in swing analysis that are available in other apps (side spin, back spin, smash factor)Hoping to see this platform continue to develop because it's a really fun, useful, and cost effective way to get in some extra practice!
