Este cepillo para piscina es como ese amigo que no dice mucho pero lo hace todo bien.Llega con un look entre futurista y doméstico, como si un escurridor se hubiera aliado con un robot de limpieza. El montaje es tan sencillo que ofende: solo hay que ponerle los dos cepillos laterales con sendos tornillos, y el destornillador viene incluido. Repito: te lo dan todo. Es como si supieran que la humanidad está al borde del colapso y decidieran hacernos la vida un poquito más fácil. Una vez montado (tres minutos y ni un improperio), la cosa cambia: esas cerdas robustas no perdonan.Atacan las esquinas, paredes y escalones con una furia que recuerda a una madre limpiando justo antes de que lleguen visitas. El mango de aluminio le da ese punto pro, aunque no trae pértiga telescópica, lo cual puede decepcionar al que esperaba algo tipo arma Jedi. Aun así, cumple de sobra su misión: deja la piscina limpia como conciencia recién confesada. No vibra, no se suelta, y hasta el verde fosforito le da ese toque "me tomo la limpieza en serio pero con estilo".Recomendado para quienes quieren resultados y no dramas. Con un PvP bastante ajustado, este cepillo no solo rasca el fondo: rasca el aplauso.

I used these in a slightly different way than they were advertised (as well as exactly what they are for) and I am pleased with both sets of results. This is a well-made set of skimmer socks and it is definitely a pretty good value. I love these and will be coming back once I have need for more.

The sock fits tightly over my skimmer basket which is about 8 inches in diameter. The skimmer handle catches the dimple of the sock. Without the sock I just bang the skimmer against something and shake out the debris. With the sock in place you have to rinse it out with the hose if you want to re-use it, but you don't have to remove it from the basket. Because the top of the sock is so tight, some of the debris falls off of the sock as you are lifting the basket out of the hole. The photo with the debris on top was captured with the pump running, so even with the added suction it doesn't pull the sock down to the bottom of the basket. Sometimes an air bubble will get underneath the sock and invert it from dimple down to dimple up. I have since learned that you can put a rock or other weight on to the top of the sock to keep it weighed down. It definitely catches much finer material than the basket alone, however, I feel that it should be much deeper to conform to the bottom of the skimmer basket better. After using the same sock for over a month (they last forever if you rinse them) and discovering the rock trick, I had to increase my review to 4 stars. The rock solves nearly all of the problems that I was having with the sock and prevents debris from rolling off of the sock as you lift the basket out of the hole. The shallow depth of the sock still prevents it from achieving 5 stars.Update: This Spring I have been dumbfounded at the amount of pollen that this sock is catching. I would definitely have had to clean my cartridge filters of all the pollen if not for the sock. My cartridge filter has remained clean with low pressure. I highly recommend using a filter sock in your skimmer basket.
