Price when reviewed: £ 24.99.I ordered this light panel to use with my light tent. The light panel to provide bottom lighting while the light tent provides top lighting. Together they work very well.For this review I tested everything with a small pair of binoculars I own, and the result is a series of shadowless photos.The brightness level of this light panel isn’t adjustable, there is just a simple touch button for on and off. This isn’t a problem when using it with my light tent as the tent does have adjustable brightness and I can change it to match this panel.Overall, this is a good light panel to produce shadowless photos, and teams up well with a light tent.

This shadowless light panel is useful for photographing small items/products. It will require good overhead lighting to avoid silhouetting. I'm happy with the colour temperature of it, but this is fixed, so there's no means of adjusting it.It also doubles as a lightbox for artwork, so is proving very useful in my small studio.

Das Lichtpaneel bringt selbst ein gutes Licht von unten hervor. Für meinen Geschmack könnte der Farbton etwas kühler und weißer sein, es hält sich aber noch im Rahmen und sieht leicht wärmer aus als gedacht.Die Größe ist ideal für kleine Gegenstände, damit man diese gut zur Schau stellen kann.Man benötigt im besten Fall noch ein Overhead Licht, damit man eine Silhouette komplett entfernen kann.Schade ist, dass man das Helligkeitslevel des Paneels nicht verändern kann.Toll ist, dass man die Platte problemlos mit USB-C anschließen kann.Für den Preis bekommt man hier aber ein wirklich solides Lichtpaneel, welches seinen Job mit schattenlosen Bildern zuverlässig erfüllt.

This works on. I wish the light was more of a cooler white light. It's kind of a warm yellowish toned light and that doesn't really work for me. I still use it sometimes without the light as a background for my jewelry photos.

Upon opening the box I was impressed. The unit is nicely made, packaged securely without being excessively over-packaged, and it’s ready to use as quickly as you can open two bags and plug in a USB. The easy-touch button is extremely easy to operate (although, possibly too easy as I accidentally brushed it with my wrist and turned it off a couple times; will turn it so the button is not facing me next time). The plastic of the surface is very nice and sturdy, and has a molded-in pebbled texture that I really like- with smooth frosted acrylic or plastic, with use they can easily develop marks and scratches that disrupt the soft, diffused, almost-not-there background they’re meant to create. This plastic will not have that problem, and is very easy to wipe or blow clean.I doubt anybody is going to complain that this panel isn’t bright enough- it certainly is powerful! Unfortunately this may be its downfall too, along with the fact that there’s no brightness adjustment; it’s either 100% on or off. I used it in my existing lightbox with multiple LED lights shining through the white fabric walls to diffuse them, as has been my setup for some years. Without this panel, I’ve never had a problem with these lights not being bright enough. I’m an experienced product photographer as a small business owner, so I am familiar with how to shoot and light items with this type of setup. However, the panel is SO bright that it overpowers everything else and instead of a well-lit subject free of shadows, I now have a hopelessly backlit subject that no amount of photoshop can salvage. The attached photo is a red garnet necklace… but I’m definitely the only one who’s going to know that from these images. I’m going to do a bit more experimenting, but I’m 99% sure this one is going to get returned in favor of a model with adjustment capability.Upon looking at the item listing again, I now see why I was surprised that the panel I received only has on/off and no brightness adjustment; the largest size option has the adjustment feature, but the smaller ones don’t. If you come to the listing via search you’re shown the full-featured model, but if you then click the smaller size it’s not immediately clear that the features are so different too unless you go back through all of the photos again. This seems rather deceptive- the options presented refer solely to the size when in reality one size is a completely different device. This just made it a lot more likely that I’ll be returning this one and buying an adjustable model… from another brand.
