Simply the most definitive, thorough, and best book on the topic of punch needle, by the queen of the craft. A natural teacher (I have taken her class), Stewart does a thorough job of explaining how to do the craft, what tools and accessories to use, and how to expand into more advanced uses and combine punch needle with other fabric arts, clothing, and beading. The book is filled with inspirational photos of stunning and whimsical and exquisitely detailed punch needle items. The book opens flat so the user can refer to it easily while learning the process. Highly recommended!

This book is ideal for anybody wishing to learn the craft of punch needle embroidery. It is clearly set out and presented in such a way as to be of value to all , from beginner to experienced embroiderer. The illustrations are comprehensive, clear and complement the text.I am pleased that I purchased this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I found it so easy to understand. Explanations are given for why you have to do something - not just how to do it. It covers from a brief history of the art, through choosing from a wide range of fabrics & threads to the finished item. All in easily managed sections. The diagrams are very clear to follow, with plenty of colour photographs of completed examples to admire & part done work to compare. The wire binding means the pages stay flat so you can easily follow a diagram while actually stitching. This is a book you will keep coming back to - whether for inspiration or troubleshoot a problem - you will come back to it!

UNA GUIDA COMPLETA ED ESAURIENTE CHE OFFRE UNA PANORAMICA SU QUESTO PARTICOLARE TIPO DI RICAMO;si parte dai cenni storici fino ad una serie di suggerimenti per apprendere la tecnica.COntiene anche alcuni progetti ma non è un libro che offre solo proposte da realizzare, è una vera e propria guida teorica con approfondimenti sui vari tipi di problemi che possono sorgere ricamando a punchneedle.

I first discovered needlepunch about 20 years ago. I ordered (directly from Marinda) her first small needlepunch book, and learned a lot from it. This book covers everything you need to know, and then some. It's excellent for a beginnner, in that she really spends time (and has pictures) of how to match the fabric and needle size. That is important. She also shows how to sculpt the finished work to get dimension and texture. There is something here for everyone. I am very impressed. I have purchased a few needlepunch books over the years, and this is the best I've ever seen. The directions are very clear, and the many many pictures are so helpful. Can't say enough.THANKS!
