Quality made 3d printed model i painted mine as a lost temple add green stuff and animals looks good.

QP3D's Ruined Citadel Collection features some very nice pieces, made of good quality PLA and at better prices than most plastic gaming scenery.All the sets in the Ruins collection match each other architecturally, allowing them to be combined to make an entire ruined citadel.This piece features the collapsed remains of what was a tower at some point in the past. But apparently Cthulhu or Godzilla or such sat on it. What's left of it makes a nice feature for a tabletop gaming ruined citadel, though, as with any of QP3D's Ruins sets, it could also be excellent for a big custom base project for a display model or models.Primer applies perfectly to the PLA (I use Vallejo surface primer) and any decent acrylics of choice can be used for painting. (I use Vallejo Game and Reaper Master Series).The cute Half-Demon sisters in the first image are a 32mm and a 28mm figure respectively, to give some scale.The second image shows assorted QP3D Ruin elements combined - this one is at the front, roughly central, just to the right of the Giant Spider.

Modèle de la même qualité que le reste de la gamme : solide, des marques d'impression mais rien d'insurmontable. Le seul vrai bémol est l'échelle : ce modèle est trop petit, ne comptez pas y faire tenir une figurine dessus avec son socle de jeu. Même en 25mm, je pense que c'est trop petit. Dommage, ça fera un décors plus statique.

I was mildly disappointed by these items, as they were described as being suitable for 28mm to 32mm model figures, and I think that was overly optimistic. it was only a minor niggle, as I was looking for scenery pieces for Games Workshop's Middle Earth figures, which are slightly smaller. Trying to fit the larger scales under the arches and onto the stairs of the tower model would probably be a bit of a tight squeeze.That said, I'm satisfied with the three pieces I bought, and think they're good value for the money.I've seen 3D printers in use five or six years ago, and was wondering about the quality and feel of the models, as the material the Printers I'd seen in use had been fairly soft, like the toys you find in Kinder eggs.These were like hard plastic, similar to the old Airfix model buildings from long ago, but thicker and more detailed. The castings are clean. and feel robust, and I think they should withstand a lot of handling. They are similar in feel and weight to buildings by Tabletop Workshop, but whether they will be compatible with the Osgiliath ruins that Games Workshop are releasing in the new Middle Earth battle-game set I can't say.The remaining question is, how easy to paint will they be, and how will they retain paint? I can't answer these questions at present, but I'm looking forward to finding out soon.All in all, I'm satisfied with these models and if they prove as easy to paint as GW items, I'd buy from this company again.
