I had to switch to a drip system for my podocarpus hedge because they are not a fan of tons of water. The irrigation company when replacing irrigation lines just put random sprinkler heads all over not caring what plants needed what. I ended up converting everything to a drip system using this product and my hedges are thriving.

Work like a champ! Also worked with my Hunter Spray head as it replaces the entire unit. Unscrew old spray head unit and replace it with the Rainbird.

This easily converts an existing rainbird 1800 series sprinkler to a drip irrigation outlet. I have used these in 3 locations on my property as part of my drip irrigation installation. Aside from any overgrowth over the sprinkler, completing the conversion takes at most 5 minutes. These include a built in pressure regulator, which is necessary for a drip system. I’d use these again if the need arises.

I ordered this style and the other style that had the 6 line emitter. Not sure yet which I prefer - probably depends on the bed they are being used in. Both are function great. I did open it up after install and remove the innards and top and turned the line on to flush out anything that fell in the line while installing.

Has worked very well all summer. Keeps the raised flower beds watered.
