The Meshwaram Fabrics Readymade Dhoti is a convenient option for traditional wear, but it has some drawbacks. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable, making it suitable for festivals and poojas. The elastic waist adds to the ease of wearing, which is a plus.However, the material blend (50% polyester, 50% silk) doesn't feel as premium as expected. I was hoping for a softer, more breathable fabric, but it leans more toward synthetic. Also, the fit is a bit limiting—it works for medium sizes, but those who prefer a looser drape may find it slightly snug.Overall, it's a decent choice for occasional wear, but I’d love to see improvements in fabric quality and fit.

Really wanted to like these but the fabric texture is just very unappealing. almost like paper. The fit is also strange, maybe I just don't know how to put them on. But I dislike the fabric texture so much that I'm not inclined to mess with trying to fit them properly.

Before I washed them, the material was really stiff and rough. One wash turned the material into a really light and soft fabric: A cool material without being very transparent. The ribbon stitching looks top notch, too. The waist was good.The problem was that thw legs of the thing are hemmed together really far. You either have to gird the thing up pretty darn high or you need to take little mincing steps.I don't know what to say other than this: It looks good so if you don't feel the need to take long steps, it should prove a nice garment, otherwise, maybe don't buy this one.

I recently ordered this dhoti. It is a readymade dhoti. It has a silk border. It has an elastic waist with a drawstring. It is easy to wear. It is comfortable but plate stitches on the back make feel uncomfortable while walking. It is good for any religious ceremony or festival. It can go well with any long kurta.
