Interestingly this rattan is plastic, and not cane. Being made from plastic means it's easier to cut and hopefully be more durable in the long term as natural cane can become brittle with time.It arrived tightly rolled which makes it ideal for a circular project such as a round light cover. However, if you are planning to use this for a flat project such as a cupboard door, then I recommend rolling it out and straightening it before use.

Dans le titre il est écrit « Rotin PE ». Je ne m’attendais pas à ce que ce soit du plastique, je souhaite le renvoyer et j’apprends que le retour est payant.Je trouve cet article trompeur.Je ne vois pas en quoi du plastique peut être appelé « rotin »De plus les photos montrent du vrai rotin, ce qui n’est pas le vrai produit.

After watching one of Stacey Solomon’s DIY programs of her making a unit from an old piece of furniture and using the Rattan, I had to give it a try. It’s sturdy and will do the job nicely. Once it place I will varnish it and it should last for a very long time.
