This not only is cute to look at but works perfectly for our newest gecko. It was packed very well. No smell and no pointy or sharp areas.

Filled with frog moss in both trays and Gecko loves his moist hideout.

Yes, I saw this same issue in other reviews, but I took a chance, anyway. The terra cotta was a bit brittle, and needs better cushioning inside the box. All the pieces are packed in a box inside individual bubble-wrap sleeves. That's not enough to prevent the heavier pieces from smashing the terra cotta bowl. The box this was packaged in was even packed in a larger box with several other items. However, a regular 4" terra cotta plant saucer fits perfectly, and is more sturdy than the original. I'm not going to go through the headache of returning this just to receive another one in the same condition. Until they change their packaging, it's probably inevitable. The rest of the item is exactly what I was hoping for, to use as a humid hide and calcium dish for my leopard gecko.

My Leo loves this hide. It's a good size - he's currently a juvenile but the opening is large enough that it should continue to be appropriate for him in the future. I like how it has a base so you can more easily line it with moss or paper towel to help keep the moisture in the humid hide. It's well made and well painted so it looks nice in the enclosure.
