So these are a really good size ..... amazingly smooth and nicely made. The wooden edges match up exactly, no shoddy overhang where the edges join and each of the four wooden panels have been well produced. I am planning to cover these with wallpaper to make a feature wall above my toilet (its a small area, but needs a pop of colour) and I wanted some depth to it, rather than just wallpapering the wall and these will be just ideal. But if you are planning to paint on them you'll be delighted with the smooth surface to create your masterpiece on. They are light as well - easy to carry if you are planning on painting outside out. The price tag isn't cheap, but considering the quality of the items, you get four in a pack and wood isn't cheap these days (plus its environmentally friendly - as per the pack) its a fair price. Not a bargain, but fair price for the items in question.

The wood provides a solid surface for painting. I tried both acrylic and oil, and found the paint adhered well. The surface is smooth, with minimal grain showing through. The size is practical for smaller projects. I did notice some slight variations in the wood grain between the panels. For those who enjoy wood burning, these panels appear suitable, though I have not tested this. They provide a nice, natural base for art.

In der Überschrift zur Produktbeschreibung wird eine wundersame "Erfindung" versprochen: Eine Holzleinwand. Der geneigte Interessent steht vor der Frage, ob es sich nun um eine Leinwand aus Leinenstoff oder um Sperrholz handelt.Der Kunde bekommt drei Birkensperrholzbretter, drei Millimeter dick und 23 x 31 cm groß. Umrahmt von einem 1,9 cm dickem Blockrahmen. Das Holz ist astfei und ohne Verzug, die Verarbeitung erfreulich sauber. Es empfiehlt sich dennoch vor der Weiterbearbeitung die Holzteile leicht einzunebeln und nach dem Trocknen mit feinem Schleifpapier abzuziehen.
