I could have used this after my knee surgery, but so glad to have it now. We have steps in and around our house that have a taller rise than the rest of the stairs, so it’s difficult for us older folks to climb those stairs. This cuts that in half, so climbing those steps are much easier.The surface has a non-skid rubber covering, and is big enough to handle larger sized feet. The wood finish is a plus, so it doesn’t look like our plastic step stools.Now the downside: This step stool will tip if the weight is not in the middle. I think it would have been more stable if the legs on the bottom went all the way to the edge, which would keep it from tipping. This is why I gave it 4 stars. Other than that, it is definitely helpful to have this step stool available to help with our stairs.

I think this is a great quality item with one exception. I stepped on it after putting it together (takes about 3 minutes) and the opposite side immediately came off the ground and tipped towards me. It was pretty startling. I thought I had put my foot down closer to the middle, but I guess not. If those bottom pieces of wood were just 2" longer, it would eliminate this from happening. I learned my lesson, but I'm somewhat nervous about using it. If a child or elderly person is using it, make sure they are aware of this as the tipping could be a safety issue. It's perplexing to cut those pieces short - I see other similar products take those supporting pieces of wood to the edge. I also wonder if the plastic feet are a little too high and might be contributing to the tipping. Otherwise, this would be 5 stars.

I bought this step stool to help me get into my high bed, and it works perfectly. It’s very sturdy and holds my weight well (I’m over 200 lbs). The non-slip surface makes me feel safe when stepping on it. The wood is solid, and the black finish looks nice in my room. It’s also great for my elderly parents to use in the kitchen and bathroom. The height is just right—not too tall but enough to make a difference. Assembly was easy, and it feels durable. Overall, this is a great purchase for anyone who needs a little extra height. Highly recommend!

The best part about this step stool is the grip on top. You do however if you step on the edge have it tip forward, which can be good and bad based on your preference. I personally removed it and added other grip on the bottom for my use. The size is perfect vs the bulky one I previously had in front of dryer. Price is great and would recommend

Het opstapje is mooi en goed. Glijdt niet weg. Echter, het zou beter gewest zijn met twee dwarsbakjes inplaats van een. Het oppervlak is namelijk vrij klein en dat betekent dat je meestal met je voeten over da rand staat, het gewicht op de rand komt. Dan kiept de opstap en kom je alsnog lelijk ten val. Ik heb er zelf een extra blokje onder gezet, maar de fabrikant zou dit eigenlijk moeten aanpassen.
