Despite the negative reviews, I thought I'd give this mask a chance because I wanted a comic style cowl. It's much better than people give it credit for. It fits my 22.5" head perfectly. All I did was trim off the excess around the neck, then use a balloon and heat gun to smooth out some of dents and help restore it's shape. I plan to add red mesh for the eyes and wear it with a comic style cosplay. Not bad at all for $40!!

The mask was tight fitting and uncomfortable for my normal sized adult face. Worse was the fact that the cut-out for the eyes didn't line up well enough so that it made it difficult to see and being so tight, it could not be adjusted well enough. The picture makes it seem like it is made of some variation of looser fitting cloth instead of the rubberized mask that many Halloween masks are made of and which get stifling after a few minutes.

I guess I have a fat head and face. Very durable and good material. Just did not fit well!
