Through the package you could clearly see the knickers had spots on one of the legs. After closer inspection it looked as if they were worn, washers to remove stains and returned. Also came with no tags. Returned and purchased a new pair.

While most prospective buyers will see these as baseball or softball pants, those of us who play with 100-year old hickory-shaft golf clubs, and usually dress the part will see these as perfect for casual vintage playing attire.The name "Diamond Series Knicker" was the giveaway for me, and they did not disappoint! While I own several pairs of wool or cotton-polyester blend purpose-built golf knickers (also called "Plus-Fours"), I thought these athletic pants might be just the thing for looking appropriately vintage, yet constructed for freedom of movement and comfort. When I received my pair, in a medium gray color, I tried them on with knee socks, and they looked completely appropriate for vintage golf events. Unless you're playing in a tournament where everyone is encouraged to wear historically accurate reproduction clothing, these Russell Athletic pants will fit in nicely. Plus the Russell Athletic brand is known for quality, and these pants look and feel like top of the line athletic clothing.

My son’s school has always used grey pants for the last 7 years, so why when I took the initiative to get grey pants a month before they started this year did they decide that they are doing black pants this year?!?! Sigh. And apparently it’s like impossible to find black pants in a men’s large unless it’s an off brand…But anyways we did still try these on my son and they fit as expected for a men’s large, so the sizing seams on point. They are short, but that’s the style right now. It’s either super short like these at knee length, or the full length long ones, at least in our area and school district.However I will say that we have bought a lot of baseball and softball pants over the years and these are kind of thin and flimsy feeling for an almost $40 price point.

I dont know why but i always wanted a pair of these. They fit just fine. I felt like part of the team wearing mine. Pretty offical piece of gear.

These baseball pants fit exactly as I thought they would. They are so soft and comfortable and are stretchy and form fitting without being too snug. Absolutely recommend. The material is thick and will resist being torn even in the roughest games.
