I ordered these and anticipated that bookends for 35 bucks would be an average quality item. These things are plastic junk. Not only where they broken upon delivery the look like a kid with a can of gold paint made these things in his basement. The paint didn't even adhere to the plastic. It is all over my hands and the table cloth in my home. I've seen some cheap garbage China made items before, but never, ever, have those items been as bad as this was.

Excellent appearance and appropriate to where I am using them. They are much lighter than I expected, but seem to be holding the books in place.
