Works fine with my Ryobi scarifier. Although, not a massive difference from the attachment that came with the machine.

Easy to change out, you can't get it wrong, only goes in one way. Great for a gentler way of getting thatch out in the summer months.

Great as a light scarifier attachment/power rake. Won’t punch aeration holes in the lawn and I knew that before I purchased, and didn’t buy it for that reason. This works great at giving your lawn a light dethatching and scraping up dead matter to let your lawn breathe.

Auch bei mir brechen die Federn schnell. 3x gelüftet und 2/3 der Federn sind gebrochen. Ich habe herausgefunden, wie die Walze zerlegt werden kann. In das Vierkantrohr einen Eisenstab einführen und damit den Wellenstummel des Lagers heraustreiben. Federn suche ich noch, es gibt eine Vielzahl im Netz.

Ich habe die Walze zum Rasenlüften eingebaut. Schon nach geringer Benutzung sind bis auf zwei Federn alle abgebrochen.Qualität der Federn ist mangelhaft.Zum Vergleich,bei einem Mantis halten die Federn schon mehrere Jahre !!!!

Zum verdikutieren im Frühjahr und dann noch 2 mal im Sommer mit der Lüfterwalze von Ryobi.Gutes Gerät macht einen Stabilen Eindruck und funktioniert einwandfrei .

I don’t know if I got lucky and got a defective piece but mine fit inside the machine but you couldn’t actually fit the closing plastic bracket on. I tried to put it on and realised the radius of the rod was a few mm too large and it wouldn’t let the closing bracket be bolted on. I had to return it. Thank god for Amazon for their return process but what a letdown, as the machine itself is amazing.

Got this at the same time as the Ryobi RY18SFX35A-0 battery scarifier and used it after the main scarifier roller. It can be quite abrasive so use on maximum height, only move in a forward direction and preferably pick a dry day. Flicks all sorts of small twigs, grit and finer thatch off surface as well as puncturing ground with oxygen feeding holes for grass roots.I would recommend using in combo with the Ryobi RAC822 debris catcher basket - shouldn't fill too quickly if you've scarified first with original blade reel. Easy to fit, just remove two allen screws, pull out scarifier reel and swap for aerator - takes seconds. On a lower height setting it can be used to till bare ground for re-seeding. Worked for me anyway!
