Works BUT I also had to buy an HDMI audio extractor to work with my TV which cost another $28. And I had to figure this out myself (the instructions don’t mention about the possibility of needing an audio extractor if your TV only has “audio in” hardware). That’s not their fault, but I took a star off because the volume is either too loud or too soft. Tried watching at night (when all was quiet) but could not find a happy “medium” level of sound (so the sound comes off as hardly audible even at night, or too loud), and there is no visual way to tell how high or low the volume is, you have to use your ears. The external bass unit is okay but doesn’t really sound like it gets loud enough. Still overall a fun external speaker but mostly just because of the bass unit. My TV’s speakers also just sound clearer/crisper than this system. But at least it’s not a dud, so I’m okay with it.

I have had this since 5/22. Just hooked up lastnight it sounded great, this a.m the soundbar blew and sounds so cracked now. All my excitement is now soooo gone. Not a happy customer.I would like to say that after my review this company contacted me to resolve my issue with soundbar. They replaced the entire system very promptly, even though my purchase was over 6 mo. old. After hooking up new soundbar I was very happy with not only the sound system in general, but mostly the company as they handled my complaint seriously and quickly. I'm very happy with both.

I am pleasantly surprised. Honestly I wasn't expecting much in buying this. It's my first sound bar. I'm not a fan of surround sound but my television has horrendous sound quality and I needed to do something. My biggest issue is action movies where the dialogue is almost inaudible and the fight sequences are loud enough to wake the dead.This sound bar has been hooked to my TV for over a month now and I'm in love. Music, movies, shows, YouTube, etc, everything sounds fantastic. The subwoofer also gave me what I didn't even know I was missing. Audio is so dynamic now but also way more balanced than before.My only complaint is the remote. You gotta point exactly right for it to register. I'm not even that far away from it (the bar is for the TV in my bedroom) but man, I gotta raise my arm and bend it some type of way for the bar to acknowledge it.Regardless I love the bar and the subwoofer so no star deduction for that because I don't think that would be entirely fair. Between the price and the quality of the product, I am very happy and would recommend it to anyone. The volume range is great. The audio quality is great. There's plenty of modes to connect it to what you want. And the design is sleek and aesthetically pleasing if you're into that.

2nd Edit: seller reached out again and agreed to replace the soundbar. I am replacing stars.Edit: bluetooth function stopped working entirely (even on my phone) after just a few months. Seller reached out but suggested that i should just hook it up RCA wired and that my roku doesnt accept bt (it does). That is not what i bought this for! I bought it for bt use. Removing stars!Got a 4k roku tv and this thinking i could connect them wirelessly. Turns out my brand new roku does not support this brand or something because the only way to make it work is to connect it to my phone and use the roku app to route the sound thru my phone. I must do this every time i watch something, and phone calls mute my show. Its quite annoying. Other than that it works fine and sounds great for the $$$

Amazon with packaging is a real issue. It came in a huge box with no internal protection. Meaning the entire trip the unit was banging all around inside. My unit has missing batteries to the remote. Did come with optical cable. My eardrums almost blew first time I turned it on. It was full blast and with a terrible hiss. Tried all the configuration. Finally got sound to come through. Seems like it would be a pretty powerful unit. Awesome bang for the buck if it wasn’t for the still persistent background hiss. I assume packaging and shipping was the cause of the unit or someone blew the speakers out. Which is also possible considering it was missing batteries etc. very simple to use unit and comes with all the possible cables you need including the optical cable. To bad I got a lemon. I do like it so I’m returning this one and will try again. Hopefully the next one comes ok. AMAZON BETTER PACKAGE YOUR PRODUCTS. Can’t tell you how many times I get damaged products because common sense wasn’t used. Common sense is rare nowadays.
