I got this tracker card based on the promise of "up to 16 months" of battery life, which is about 50% longer than similar credit card size trackers. I am currently testing various manufacturer's tracking devices and will update this review when I better know how it holds up to time. It easily charges and pairs up to Applle's Find-My app.This card is a little different than other cards in that it is constructed of "aluminum and tempered glass" rather than a plastic polymer. This makes it more rigid than other cards I have, and whether this is good or bad I can't say. I suspect it may scratch less, if that's even an issue you care about, but if flexed or bent it also might break before a plastic card would. I tend not to intentionally abuse stuff I own so I can't report on this possibility yet. Wait for my update in 18 months.The printing on the card is very, very hard to see - effectively invisible without holding it in the light just right. The dark grey print and symbols are behind the black glass surface, making it a test to find the button to turn it on/off/activate. Sexy? I guess, but why?Functionally, this card behaves just like all the rest. The bluetooth range is typical and close to the manufacturers claim. Keep in mind that walls and metal, such as a car's body or a prison cell, will reduce the effective distance. The sound that the card emanates is also loud enough to hear from another room if all else is quiet and you have good hearing. It compares favorably against many bluetooth trackers which do not match their decible claims. Additionally, it doesn't have any openings in the surfaces as some other cards do to accomodate sound, so I would think this card should be better in a damp environment or "brief submersion".You can find other comparable cards that cost less, are more robust or have better waterproof ratings, but few claim more than 5-12 months battery life as this one does. It's still too soon to report on durability, but this card from Satechi has thus far functioned as advertised. If the battery doesn't make the grade I'll be back to remove some stars.

I am one of those who uses a zippered pouch attached to my key lanyard as a wallet, and I am constantly losing my keys, so I was really excited to find and try this. It's a little thicker than a regular credit card, but fit right into my wallet. It was easy to turn on and add to Find My. Mine arrived fully charged, but I like that it can be charged with a wireless charger if needed.I have already used my phone to ping it and it works well. The only gripe that I have is I wish that the speakers were a little louder. It can be very hard to hear the ping if you are not already super close to the item. But it works exactly as it says it should and definitely gives me some peace of mind.

This was a highly anticipated item that I was looking forward to getting. The card is about 2x the thickness of a regular card but otherwise the same width and height. There is a single multi-function button that is used to power on, pair, power off, and reset through a series of press and holds. I like how every function requires at least two button pushes to ensure you aren’t making changes while sitting on your wallet. The card charges wirelessly and claims it can go for more than a year without needing to be charged. Pairing and setup is straightforward using the “additional items” in findmy. Note that you won’t get the super precision that you get with an airtag and iphone 15+ that tells you within inches where your airtag is. There is a speaker and even in my wallet inside a drawer it was loud enough to hear though in a really loud environment, you aren’t going to hear it at all. If there was one suggestion, it would be to make the speaker a bit louder but this is a similar complaint I have about airtags. Also note, according to the manual the company appears to based in the US.

I am super excited to try this tracker. However, setting it up was not easy. It is 100% impossible to tell if the LED is on once you figure out how to click it. It is impossible to get it to turn back on if you can figure out how to turn it off. I put it on the wireless charger (required and not included) and it never let me know if it was even charging...no orange color came on. So I added it via Find My, and it was there with a full battery. Basically, I have no way to tell if the battery is good or if it is on by looking at the card. Jury is out on this one

I run several Apple AirTags on keys and portable tool cases. However, I prefer the flat business/credit card-type tracking devices, like this Satechi for wallets and book bags. I appreciate that I can place this card-type tracker in an interior pocket of my laptop book bag and monitor its location.Unlike my AirTags, I can recharge this tracker on a Smart Q charger and save on discarding depleted batteries. For me, this is a good value.
