Scheepjes wurde 1855 in Veenendaal, Niederlande, gegründet. Der Sitz von Scheepjeswol befindet sich heute in Tynaarlo. Cahlista bedeutet "besonders schön", und das trifft auf Scheepjes Cahlista mit seiner stilvollen, matten Optik ganz sicher zu! Dieses Garn aus 100 % Baumwolle, das nicht merzerisiert ist, hat die perfekte Drehung, so dass das Garn nicht aufspaltet und dennoch einen sehr weichen Fall hat. Dieses Garn ist doppelt gasiert", was bedeutet, dass überschüssige Baumwollfasern durch einen Prozess, bei dem das Garn zweimal durch eine Flamme geführt wird, aus dem Garn entfernt werden.

Entire skein is split. Impossible to work with. I ordered other colors that came from different vendors and didn’t have this problem. Taking three times as long to crochet with.

I adore this brand of yarn. That being said, hooowee it's expensive to get on amazon. 1 50g ball will make 1 6-8 inch, or 22cm, doll depending on the pattern you're using/making. For about six dollars you can get a 100g ball from a shop, at least around here; That's the same price as this which is half the product. But as I was impatient for shops to restock I broke down and ordered some. Shipping was very quick. Yarn was nicely packaged and none of the balls were unraveled. Hardly any stretch makes it perfect for an amigurumi project. Should I again become impatient for the shops I'll probably order again even at the higher price simply for convince but I hope I have more restraint than that because as I said, much more expensive.
