I was so excited to use this yarn as I was looking for undyed yarn but all three came tangled beyond belief and unusable

I bought this yarn to experiment with dyeing fabric with sumac and walnuts. It takes the dye well. I know that Scheepjes Yarn has a great reputation. I have not begun knitting with it, but I know it will knit well. The yarn is skeined in a way that makes it ready to dye, and it is easy to wind into a ball after dyeing. Rather than get out my yarn winder, I just put it on the back of a chair, as my grandmother taught me about 65 years ago. I will buy this yarn again when I have more dyes to try. Undyed yarn is different from "natural" or white yarn as to taking dye well.
